Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

The hotel is excellent located 50 meters from the Grand Bazaar, but in a quiet street Bezayet tram station. Reception staff very friendly, with good English, big and comfortable and large room, very good mattress. full breakfast and free WiFi powerful. In short, excellent choice, no negative point. price: 39 €.

There is so much to like about the Inter Hotel. Setting in a quiet back street makes for a good sleep while being only about 4 minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar. The rooms while smallish have very comfortable beds and lovely clean bathrooms. There is constant hot water ,heating in winter and cooling in summer. Wifi and TV and a good breakfast are all available. The reception staff , Latif, Metin and Ugur are friendly and helpful. I have stayed in this hotel many times and have never had cause to regret it.

Before I arrived Mr Latif and his colleague responded my requests very quickly. The room was basic but comfortable. The wifi works fine. Elevator goes to 5th or 3rd so you need to walk one floor up or down. The breakfast was complete with juices, coffee, pastry, eggs, sausages, cold cuts and cakes and cheese etc. It is located very close to Beyazit tram station, which is next to Grand Bazaar. So close to Sultanhamet area you can either choose to walk for 20 minutes to see the Blue Mosque and Ayasofya or take the tram (2 stops). I took the tram as I have the istanbulkart that lets me use public transport and tram connects to many tourist attractions. Will definitely come back if I am back in Istanbul again.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Inter for 7 days from September 03, 2015. The hotel is well positioned. It’s at 5 mn from tramway and Beyazit station. The Turkish Bazaar is at 5 mn and you have 10 mn walk to Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, cistern and other touristic sites not far. Cafés and restaurants with reasonable prices are nearby. It is comfortable. The rooms are very clean with air conditioned, hot showers, TV with many stations and very good wifi. The breakfast is rich with plenty of food choice. All the employees are very professional, helpful and friendly

Loved our stay at hotel Inter! Rooms were really basic but they were clean and the location couldn't be beat! Latiff was one of the best concierges ever! He had an answer for everything! Would definitely stay again.

My Brother and i attended the 2015 Anzac Day Commemoration at Gallipoli. We spent one day beforehand and 2 days afterwards at Hotel Inter. It was comfortable, clean and excellently placed, 5 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to be of assistance. the buffet breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone traveling on a budget.

I spent five nights at the Hotel Inter in February 2015. My room was on the 6th floor (as I had requested), small but comfortable and very clean, with a partial view of the sea of Marmara. Prior to my stay, the hotel answered my emails (in English) almost instantly, which came in handy as my arrival was delayed by a snow storm. I appreciated the free shuttle to the hotel (but getting back to the airport for my return was very easy via tram and subway). The bed was very comfortable, and the shower head had colored lights on it (a first for me). The only minus (minor) was the non-changing breakfast buffet, a little drab day after day. The concierges were always helpful (they can change your Dollars and Euros at a good rate). The area where the Inter is located is, I realize now, ideal for visitors: you are very close to the Old City (Sultanahmet), a colorful walk away from the Grand Bazaar Eminomü area (where all the ferries are), and, thanks to the tram nearby, you can get anywhere very quickly. One thing I did not expect is that the neighborhood between the hotel and the shore to the south is a very endearing working-class area, not touristic at all, where you can observe authentic life away from the souvenir peddlers. And when you hit the shore (Kennedy Boulevard), you are in an area called Kumkapi with many good fish restaurants for any budget (from fancy to simple). I picked the hotel almost at random, but it is a great place, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
