This hotel is a gem in Istanbul. From the roof top terrace where the breakfast is served, you see both Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque, which are nearby, as well as Topkapi Palace. So this hotel has a great location in the old Town. The rooms are Clean and tidy and offers great value for Money. The staff even offered...

An excellent location, very clean, decent breakfasts, friendly staff. Need to know that the street is very noisy, but not from traffic (which is rare as the hotel is in the Old Town) but because of music from lots of restaurants and bars. For some it is a drawback, for others quite contrary (see Mitani Cafe for example)

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. Great location on a really fun street, close to blue mosque and Hagia Sophia, so not only great for nightlife but great for sightseeing. Lovely room and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Third time to Istanbul and this was the best hotel yet. Will definitely stay there again

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
