Avoid at all costs! They claim to be 5* but in reality they are barely 3*. Dirty, tired, smelly, uncomfortable. One of the worst hotels I have stayed in for a long time. The staff barely speaks anything beside turkish, the food is attrocious! Just a complete hell hole!

Well, I hope I never have to stay in that hotel again. First of all it’s location is far from anything, including airport (good thing - there a bus 8 going there but the way from the station means crossing bridges that don’t work 24/7 so you have to carry your bags by yourself. The way is pretty dark and scary). The hotel consists of two buildings and don’t be surprised if you’ll have to take breakfast ( not that good choice I’d say) not in yours but the next one as well as they can make you go to the other building for check out as well. The horrible smell of smoke was coming from the conditioner. For a solo traveller they offered a room with two single beds, God knows why.

I usually write higher score than the hotels deserve. We came here because of Turkish Airlines fault of not being able to board us, due to overbooking. We were given the rooms which were clean and adequate. Normal with everything. Additionally restaurant service team was nice. What I did not like is the location - in the middle of nowhere or far away from the center. Reception team was not friendly. The worst thing was that we had lunch and dinner and I can say that there was almost nothing to eat. Some vegetables left from breakfast and a bread. Dinner even worse. That is all. Bread, butter, one strange hot thing? 2 vegetable plates and water in plastic. I asked for cheese and they refused. Dining was 1 star EU.

We had a terrible experience in this hotel. Once we did the check-in, we were given an information by the receptionist that the lunch was from 12:30pm tp 3pm. We came from a 12hour flight and we were tired. We put an alarm for 2:30pm and we went down to get to the restaurant to get news the lunch has ended. They treat us incredible bad basically saying they didn't told us that, and didn't supported the information that they told us. They left us without any food which was supposed to be included. Really bad handling of situation by the hotel staff and by the same girl that gave us wrong information. These are the experiences that really makes us not want to come to this hotel ever again and we will share this experience to everyone we know.

This is not a 5 star hotel!! Why has it been granted a 5 star hotel with such inadequate service! Rooms are clean and comfortable. I had a problem with the shower tray in my bathroom. Water was leaking heavily from the basin of the shower tray all on to the bathroom floor. I reported this twice to the hotel reception and it was never checked or fixed in my week long stay. The cleaning staff probably thought I was overusing the towels as they were constantly soaked trying to dry up the water so I wouldn’t slip!! Food was very very poor and let’s not talk about the coffee… 🤢 The swimming pool was indoors and the size is two bedrooms! The gym had two/ three cardio machines and only 5 set of dumbbells.. that’s it! Luckily there is a large shopping mall only minutes walk away from the hotel with plenty of restaurants to choose from… Plus a McDonald’s around the corner if all else fails!! Worst part of this hotel is the lifts!! There are 6 elevators but if you are waiting for a lift to your floor or going to any floor there could be a very long wait!!! I witnessed 20 minutes of waiting! Stairs is an option if you’re going down.. but if your hiking up you need a good set of lungs for sure !!! Over all the hotel is very large, clean and comfortable. But it’s a maximum a 3 star, pushing a 4 star cause of the tiny pool!!! Food is poor from breakfast to dinner and staff are friendly but from what it looks like unwilling to work more than they have/need to!

We stayed in this hotel which was provided as an overnight stay hotel by Turkish airlines. They told us dinner was included but proceeded to feed us this dog food instead of giving us access to the proper menu. A trick by Turkish airlines but hotel also to blame for feeding this to humans in the 21st century

Tuyas Palas Is ranked 5 stars but it seems no more than two. The main minus are the employers- very unpolite, they never say hello or welcome. They don’t care to the arrival of customers and don’t try to solve any problem. Very bad experience. I ask for some food for stray dogs..no way!! Rooms are ok, bahroom water pressure is horrible. You can barely wash your hand, showering is almost impossible.. besides, there is only hot water, no cold water. I like Istanbul very much, but this hotel isa bad joke!!! Read more

Being a frequent traveller with my profession I always try to book minimum 4 star, with that level you get a clean room and a pleasant sourounding. The Tuyap Palace is billed as a 5 star hotel, being next to the exhibition centre it possessed to be very convenient for my stay. The first impressions of the lobywere somewhat average, nothing to wow you, if anything a tad tired. The rooms were pleasant but not very clean at all, my room in particular had a dirty shower through lack of attention to detail and a dripping shower head that flooded the floor every day! The air con was extremely loud that I couldn't have it on and the carpets were doing it's best to cover up years of sin. Hallways on my floor were covered by damage and masses of flaky paint and pictures that were not straight through neglect. Breakfast was appalling, the choice not very continental with what pastries they had were always under cooked. No fresh orange and I'm sure powered scrambled egg.. 5 star remember. The positives. The concierge was very helpful and send runners for items we needed. The reception bar staff were pleasant and attentive. The beds were comfortable and pillows nice quality. All in all its a 3 star hotel, really tired and in desperate need of a makeover in all departments
