I would thank the friendly staff during my second visit to Istanbul. Convenient location to many historic sites, shops and restaurants. You may find the rooms are not that great in size or view but it is cosy. Hey, would you really want to stay...More
I booked a week in this hotel and had to move after the first night. The location is close to many attractions but in a relatively isolated street. View was terrible and room too small (even though it was a deluxe room). Furniture is very...More
Before we arrived to Tria I saw all bad reviews here and I really regretted that I booked a hotel without previously reading reviews. But we were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived and checked in. Staff at the reception were very nice and helpful...More
I imagined the rooms would have views of the Bosporus but that was not to be. After asking to be moved, I was given a room with views of the water but through the ruins of a concrete building. I was very disappointed in this...More
Very clean and quite. The breakfast is good,

With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

We called the hotel before our arrival (October 2015) and asked for a car to pick us up at the airport. The driver was on time and the cost was reasonable, although I cannot remember how much it was. I would not rent a car because the traffic and driving in Istanbul is horrendous and the hotel is not on a main street. When we left, the hotel arranged for a taxi to take us to the pier for a cruise. The cost was also reasonable.
