Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Friendly desk staff. Nice decor in lobby. Good breakfast. Located near a coffeeshop and ATMs. Clean sheets, comfortable bed. Hot shower. TV. Pillows were very old and stained yellow with saliva. Room with twin beds was small. Street noise most of the night easily heard as windows offer no soundproofing. Lovely rooftop terrace with harbour views.

The whole building needs updating. Good air conditioning in our bedroom but it was small and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor taking two towel to keep it dry. Not a great experience. I wouldn’t come back here. Nice rooftop terrace but chairs and cushions all stained.

Very old hotel that needs updating. TVs didn’t work in the suite with jacuzzi and there were issues with the faucet and toilet too. They gave us a bit of a refund but we won’t go back. Next to the Tivoli market which was nothing like Tel Aviv’s Carmel market Kler’s Mahaney yehuda.

I could see some people hating this hotel but I loved it! It reminded me of a cross between Dracula's Castle and a dungeon and I mean this in a nice way not even kidding. If you are looking for a modern hotel that's renovated, this is not for you! I just wanted a cheap place for the night that was well located, clean, had an elevator, and had air conditioning and got it all! For $65 for 1 night it was great and would easily return if I were back in Haifa. The man at the front desk when I arrived was very nice as was the young man at check out. My only suggestion is to make updates to all the companies who people book on as I had an anxiety attack after getting an email from Priceline that check out ends at 8 PM. I called up in a panic as the bus I was on broke down and there was traffic due to the protests and would be arriving much later than anticipated but when I got through to them, they said it was no problem checking in after 8. Cannot really comment on the location other than it was well located for me. It's a few stops from the main bus station (tip, it's a huge bus station and difficult to locate platforms but I'm also quite stupid so this may just be me). There were a couple cafes right outside as well.

Cost is high for location and amenities offered. Parking is particularly difficult. front desk folks were friendly. Disappointed that they did not offer breakfast. Rooms are very small. Street noise can be significant. I will not be staying here when I return to the area.

I stayed here for two nights in March 2023. The hotel is located in an old part of Haifa with not much going on. There are lots of shops and there is a McDonald’s in walking distance. The hotel is close to the bus route which is ideal for travel. The room itself has seen better days, the double bed was comfy, but the bedding is stained, curtains have rips and the windows are very thin so you can hear the busy street outside. The walls are thin so if you have noisy neighbours you can hear them clearly. There are ample plug sockets for charging devices. There is a dressing table, chair, two bedside tables, fridge, kettle and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom is small with a combined bath/shower, toilet and sink. Toiletries are provided but not replenished when you use them. The paintwork is all chipped everywhere and looks quite dirty. There is a bath but no plug is provided so bring your own! Fortunately I had a travel plug but beware you cannot just pull the plug when finished as one of the floor tiles lifts and floods the whole room! So you have to drain it very slowly. This is clearly why the baths have no plug. Rather than standard TV here they use GOTV which is steaming. This has many issues as the WIFI is unstable and I had constant buffering on every channel the first night. But if you connect to the 5g network this works much better. On the fifth floor is a rooftop view of Haifa, there are chairs and tables to sit and enjoy the view here which is nice to relax. The hotel is quite large and has six parking spaces which are very hard to find, they are located round the corner through a tiny alleyway. If you find a space there is a door to the hotel from there with an intercom. This is not always answered but if you walk round the corner there are steps up the the hotel entrance and the door is always open. This hotel really has seen better days, but is good for the price. It has a comfy bed and if you are just looking for somewhere cheap to sleep with good travel connections to go to other areas this is a good option. But for anything else this hotel is in need of major refurbishment.

The hotel is clean and reasonably warm. Facilities are limited and the breakfast is rather strange. The main disadvantage of the hotel is its position, a 40 minute walk from the area where the goof restaurants are to be found.

Terrible. Dirty room. Dirty bedding. Dirty and torn curtains. Ruined furniture. Everything is neglected. Noise. Dirty area. Shame on those who charge money for this place. This is not a hotel! I found the room very basic. The curtains were thread bare, paint chipping from walls and overall very monistic. It was clean, but very uninviting. I would not stay there again. Breakfast was included, but a voucher was given for the coffee shop down the block.

Centrally located. Clean and comfortable room. Decent breakfast. Nice staff. Nothing stood out on the plus or negative side. Has a rooftop terrace which needs some work but useable. Close to restaurants and post office. Loved the complimentary Milka chocolate bar in the room on arrival!
