We spent one night here and I wouldn't say we actually slept. The staff were very friendly and helpful, there is a descent breakfast and free tea and coffee, however this does not make up for the dirty sheets, awful bathroom and constant noise. To be avoided unless you can get a steep discount!

Alex and Mahmoud are kings of hospitality. They were so incredibly friendly and helpful. Also the location above the fruit market, immediately next to Al-Ayed Restaurant (shwarma and falafel are cheap and delicious), and right outside the Damascus Gate cannot be beat. I would recommend this hostel 100 times!!!

The service I experienced was friendly and always able to help. The location is perfect and would definitely recommend this hostel/hotel for those who want a long stay or value/ place o put your head for the night. Refreshment are free (tea and coffee) and so to is wifi. Go expecting value not luxury, just like if you walked into...

We arrived in Jerusalrm at 7 am after a long journey from Iceland. Although check in was not until 11 the owner let us (3 girls) into our dorm to sleep which was highly appriciated. The room (6 person female dorm) was bright and cosy although I can agree with some of the comments stating that the bedsheets were not...

This place is terrible. Photos on hostel world are not of this location and I'm fairly sure some of the reviews are put up by the owner. Place is terrible. Like a slum. Do not stay here. Cardboard for a mattress. Extremely dirty rooms and bathrooms.

it's so disgusting hostel I ever stayed. manager had very high-handed attitude to customers even we asked something when they didn't give us proper service. No good at all. the only one good thing is very close from Damascas Gate. that's it.

The Hostel has good location, the caffee and tea is free. It was bit dirty with European eyes....the bedroom had a bad small and the sheets not really looked clean. The staff was nice, but I was not satisfied with the security.

First of all I want to say it'l's really welcoming: a friend and me had nice talks with the owner. He's a really good person,he want you to enjoy your time in Jerusalem! He gave us a private bedroom next to the breakfast area, that means we just had to do 5 steps :) The bedroom itself was good for the...

I really can't understand what people are moaning about?! For roughly 10 pounds a night (for a dorm) you get a comfy bed with a delicious breakfast in a great location, hosted by helpful and friendly staff - ok it's not the Ritz but for what you're paying it's superb! The guys know the town really well and are always...

I'm not sure what people are expecting from such cheap prices & in such a central location, but this is a hostel NOT a hotel. I have travelled extensively & this hostel is basic, but provides what you need for a couple of days. I have stayed in some real cack-holes around the world & this place was absolutely fine....
