I can recommend for low budget travellers. Cheap hostel and a good location. The owner was very helpful, but the room was in bad condition. No heating, so the same temperature as outside. Not comfortible at all..

Just don't stay here. This is a list of maintenance I saw during my stay last fortnight. Four steps which were a trip hazard. Especially the second step which was eroded badly. The others were showing wire at the front. Fly screen torn in bathroom near Room 7. Broken windows at reception - glazier required. Hairballs from other guests in...

I was here twice, 2009 with my girlfriend in our tent on the roof almost a week. Amazing experience, but now it is not possible. My second stay was in April 2016 with 2 my 'sisters', we booked a room for 3, but we had one more bed as a storage of things, useful, I wanted to book it now...

My wife, brother and I all shared a triple room for two nights. We had a tight budget to stay within - and we wanted to be in the Old City, so we picked this place. I'll break this review into two sections: GOOD: -SPECTACULAR ROOFTOP VIEWS: Staying here gives you access to the roof of the building. It's a...

Do NOT use a credit card at this hotel or at their money-changing operation. We paid for a friend who stayed one night and they took a fee for a single room for 6 weeks every day until we caught them. We had to cancel the credit card to get it to stop. They also use another charge called HASANYAN...

I wandered into this unfortunate place by accident, and decided to stay as it was convenient. I wish I checked the reviews first for this hotel. Although the location is very good, the people who run it are awful. As I was paying, the guy criticized the tour I previously paid for, for the next day. I was leaving and...

The hostel is conveniently located next to the Jaffa Gate and is a good place to see the Old City It has a spectacular terrace with amazing views. These two points are all good that it has this hostel I took a single room with bathroom. The bathroom was quite dirty and very old. The mattress was very old and...

Tip: Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else in the Old City. The owner was very nice and accommodating, but that is unfortunately not enough to overcome the place itself. The location across from the Tower of David was great, but the hostel is in desperate need of repair. We had a private room with bathroom. The balcony door...

The main phrase I have been seeing is "you get what you pay for". This is true. The rooms are nothing special but they serve their purpose and the pricing reflects that. The best thing I remember about staying here was the rooftop view of the Old City. I will stay there again just to be able to sit on...

The hostel itself is cheap with standard bunkbeds and thin mattresses. Perfect for the budget traveler. However the greatest attraction is the rooftop. There you can see the Pool of Hezekiah, the Dome of the Rock, Church of the Holy Sepulchure, Hurva Synagogue and much more of the Old City. Worth the NIS5 cost to make use of the view.
