Our group of 26 people stayed here for 4 nights. Very central location walking distance ( 15 min) to Jaifa Gate. A block away from a car free shopping street full of eateries and gift shops till 10 pm. Group check in was prompt and luggages were handled well. We had 2 meals

I've said it time and again - a hotel's primary raison-d'etre is to allow guests to have a good night's sleep. On this measure, the Hotel Eyal fails. Despite being on the fourth floor, I was woken around 5am by street noise. Sure, they're not responsible for the noise, but

We stayed in a clean, smallish room with all necessary amenities, including a refrigerator, teakettle, good, free wi-fi and a digital tv that boasted radio and internet hookups (facebook, youtube etc). Very comfortable bed. Bathroom clean and stocked with basic toiletries.

Two streets over from the front of the hotel is a public parking. I left my car there for two days from Friday pm till Sunday am. Don’t remember the fee but it wasn’t too bad.

Does this hotel have luggage storage as I am arriving very early and then departing very late?
yes they do. I arrived very early and left my luggage in a storage room they have. Don't expert an early check in. They only will allow an early check in if you pay a whole night . The hotel is in a very central area. You will love the location. Many restaurants and bar near by, the gate is only 10 minutes away no need for a taxi.

Yes, it is very close to the light railway. You walk for less than 5 minutes to the end of Ben Yehuda Street where it joins Jaffa (Yafo) Street. The light railway goes up and down Jaffa Street, presumably connecting with other public transport.
