This hotel has good staff, who are quite hospitable. I was quite surprised by the friendliness of everyone here. The room: The room itself was comfortable but I think the shower curtains in the bathroom need to be changed, they are pretty old. Food: Good food. The desserts were excellent. I liked the table setting too.

It is an old place, good for a crash in for a low price.. So if you are looking for a fair place to just spend the night, this hotel is the one for you. Unfortunately I didn't have anything to eat so don't really know the quality of the food.

Good enough for a couple of nights. Service was ok and manager eager to please, but room had smoking odour (even though non-smoking was requested). Some unprofessionalism in some instances though: overheard cleaners having a laugh in guests' rooms; had to insist with clerk at checkout to show itemised bill before paying..and a bit shabby overall, though dinning in room... Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a group of 43 from Bangalore, India. First impressions were good. There was a welcome drink (apple juice) on arrival. Check-in was not too bad for a group of 43. Location good, very close to the main road with a few shops/restaurants around. The main shopping mall (Maxim Mall) & shopping area... More

Hotel is well accessible, very popular with groups. Service is nice, rooms are spacious. However beware of very low ceiling height in the rooms and don't expect anything special for breakfasts which are really modest to say the least.

I checked in with my family of four after arriving on a morning flight from Dubai for a short holiday in Jordan. The immediate downside to the hotel I faced was that the taxi could not drive up to the hotel entrance. We therefore had to unload our heavy luggage about 30 metres from the lobby entrance and carry the... More

I enjoyed staying here for a conference, but I could see how some travelers may be slightly off-put. The decor was likely fancy a few decades ago. Nonetheless, everything was clean, my bed was huge and comfortable, and I enjoyed the breakfasts. Staff was helpful. The lounge, complete with live singer, was also a bit of a trip! Overall, though,... More
