We stayed here only for one night (despite booking for 3) as for personal reasons we had to leave sooner than expected. The reception staff were very hospitable and kind, and offered us a free walking tour the next day. The room was basic with two large sized single beds (exactly what we expected) and very clean throughout! The bathroom was modern and also very clean. The location is right in the heart of downtown Amman so expect city noise throughout the night but perfectly located to the Roman ruins and Roman amphitheater (which is literally right across the road) Breakfast was made fresh and very filling. Agreeing to the walking tour was the best decision we made on our stay in Jordan! Ibrahim was our guide and was very knowledgeable, patient and knew all the good spots. We had bookmarked a few places to try on our trip and Ibrahim took us to most of them, and managed to get us (at times substantial) free samples. We left STUFFED. We taught him a Scottish word, BRAW, because everything he got for us was very tasty! We were even shown into the local mosque where my partner was dressed in traditional clothes to go into the main body of the mosque. We felt comfortable with him throughout and he even gave us his number in case we needed anything else for the duration of our stay. 100% recommend Ibrahim’s tour and I can fully recommend staying at this hotel too!

After trips to the Dead Sea, Petra, and Wadi Rum, I returned to this hotel again and again. Jehad was wonderful ... helping to arrange tours and transfers to locations all over Jordan for a very reasonable price. The location is incredibly central, next to many of the most impressive sights in Amman and a few wonderful eateries and markets. I stayed in two different rooms, and they were both very comfortable with balconies overlooking the hustle and bustle of the main street.

The location is nice, just in front of the theatre, near shops, market and restaurants. The staffs were nice and breakfast was ok. However I don't think it's a boutique hotel. We booked lots of rooms for our group. some rooms were very noisy - from the traffic outside, and was very cold, (no isolation from noice and cold weather). The airconditioner not really functioning. The amenities and facilities were very basic. sometimes the hot water was not available (it's really terrible since we were there in winter, cold weather). Wifi also not always working.

If you want your trip to be even more perfect when you visit Amann I recommend this hotel. Amman is a fascinating and very attractive city besides its monuments, but also a very big city. The perfect base is Zaman ya Zaman boutique hotel, close to the most important points of Amman! In addition to the positioning you will have great service thanks to the very professional hotel team with good advice! Jehad is a person who will help you in your research, he is passionate about his work and you can feel it! Quite simply you are at Zaman ya Zaman as if you were at home. Clean room, and spacious. the value for money is very good. Transfer service to the airport, for car rental jehad can advise you a local agency at very interesting prices! you can eat there, Mary will cook delicious meals for you. You also have a rooftop which will allow you to have a beautiful view and the best part is being practically in front of the Roman theater. I highly recommend this hotel where I spent wonderful days.

The staff here were nice, and we stayed on the terrace with a family of 5. View up here is fantastic. Good breakfast. Was clean and basic as expected but what I didn’t expect was cleaning of room everyday :). But we picked it for location - shops, sites and restaurants were nearby. We had our own bathroom. WiFi was a bit sketchy at best and hot water was limited and only 2 of us can have a shower after one another. However, it was definitely above average.

The hotel is well situated, opposite the Roman Theatre. Free parking is available in a car park, a 2 minute walk away. We arrived at about 3am and we were able to easily access the hotel. We were in room 301. The bed was comfortable and our room had a view of the theatre. The night receptionist was welcoming.
The central location has a major downside - it is on an extremely busy road. It was relatively quiet when we arrived, other than taxis tooting their horns continually, but as the night progressed into morning, the noise through the ill fitting balcony door and windows, reached a crescendo. The other major downside was the number of steps from the road up to the hotel. I did count them and I seem to remember there is somewhere in the region of 30 steps - not great when you have a hefty suitcase.
NB Don't be like me, bouncing into Reception at 3am, loudly calling "Good morning" to the receptionist - bedroom doors lead off the Reception and I suspect I woke everyone nearby!

We stayed 2 nights in Zaman and were very pleased with the place. Location couldn't be better, it is within walking distance from all the main sites and the view from the rooftop is really ccol. The owner was very responsive and informative with the emails prior to our arrival and helped us to get started with our trip. The manager Jahad is also very friendly and helpfufl guy and gave us a lot of good tips about the city and Jordan in general. Overall a very nice stay at Zaman and we would deifinitely reccommend it to other travellers.

Very clean hotel.
Jehad was a great host / manager who was really helpful and well informed about everything there is to know about Amman and surrounds, always willing to help out and provide information, organise taxis and trips around Amman and Dead Sea with very good prices, provide recommendations etc.
Very friendly staff (thankyou Rose!)
For the price, this hotel is highly recomended

We stayed here for 2 nights to get our bearings on the city and we are so glad we did! They offered a free tour with Ibrahim and it was MAGNIFICENT! We were feeling a bit overwhelmed with the traffic, lack of crosswalks, Arabic we can't read, and culture we've never experienced. Ibrahim taught us everything we needed to know- from how to cross the road and order food to where the best restaurants are, and must visit places within the city. This was such an amazing tour, our boys asked if we could do one in ever city we visit!

As for Zaman Ya Zaman itself as a hotel, we loved our stay. The hotel location was amazing with an awesome view of the amphitheater. The breakfast was delicious hot and made to order (I ate it to fast for a photo😅)! The beds and rooms were very comfortable and the staff was all lovely and incredibly helpful with lots of tour options and incredibly kind and professional drivers at the ready. We have nothing negative to say! Thank you for the stay Zaman Ya Zaman! 🙏❤

Nice hotel in the middle of Amman! A good and delicious breakfast! They offered us a free walking tour with the amazing guide Ibrahim, which was an amazing experience to explore the city in a unique way. We stopped at a local market where he offered us Kunefe, a traditional dessert from Jordan. We tasted different other things which was delicious. I really recommend this hotel and also the free walking tour!

Hi Libragirl,,, Thats actually a very packed itinerary... and Im not sure if we could find anyone who would want to do all that in one day ... but we will try if there is someone who has a shortage of time... maybe they will consider... We will ask our guests for you and get back if anyone is interested.

We don't have any rooms without a window, such as you find in New York City .... and some other places. We do have a couple of rooms that have windows that open onto an open corridor. Some people book economy rooms and expect a birds eye view of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon or the Tower of London. Guests have to be realistic with ratio of price paid etc. Now, if you want to be sure of what you have booked since you have stated a few times that you have made a reservation - for an 'economy room' why don't you contact us via the more orthodox methods available ie email or the message board provided by your online booking agent. Since I have no idea who you are or when your booking is. I'll be happy to address any of your further concerns there - with pleasure.

You can decide on arrival, no problem. The answer regarding the size of the room was answered in the previous reply to your message - approx 15 sq metres - Perhaps you didn't notice it.. Kind regards Shadi
