Location was very good, opposite Abdul Aziz gate (which is still in construction phase). Only one currency exchange shop on bottom floor which gives a good rate. The room was clean but the bathroom was not, and lack of ventilation meant we had to keep the door open. The staff were very nice. We stayed in room 1024 - no...

First, I booked this hotel after disappointing of first hotel which booked by the tour hotel, because it took 20 mins by shuttle bus to Al-Haram. We directly go to the hotel which is only 150m from Ajyad Gate of Masjidil Haram and asked whether there is room available. Reception staff was very nice and polite. After checked in, we...

I like the 2 sinks in the room; 1 in the bathroom, 1 on the kitchen cabinet. But my room is not facing the mosque; maybe you have to pay more for such room. The breakfast was almost the same everyday. I wish there is chilli sauce or cut chillies .Next to it, in the basement there are budget shops;...

Great service. Closest hotel I would say, closer than zam zam towers. Always a pleasure to stay here. Plenty of elevators so there's hardly a wait in the lobbies. Will definitely recommend this hotel especially if you are elderly.

We loved our stay here. The rooms are spacious and almost luxurious. The furniture and fittings are new and clean. The toilet is more than adequate. It's most comfortable place to do your umrah or hajj. The food in the restaurant is ample and selection is ridiculously delicious. Best part is that it's only 200m from the hotel to the...

I had come to Al safwah hotel in 2008, I loved the view of Kaaba from their restaurant, but because of so much construction there is no more view. Location is still good but they are not the closest as they claim. There are many other nicer hotels even closer. Rooms were very dirty, carpets dispicable. Their breakfast costs 130...

Great location, Ajyad Gate and Kng Abdul Aziz gate are approximatively 50 meters away. The mosque in the hotel is very confortable for eldery and has a view on Haram and the south piazza. From my room. From my room i has a view of Haram and kaaba.

It has a fantastic location, literally across the square BUT it thinks that is all it needs to do. The service was terrible, the rooms dark, dingy, dirty, worn out fittings, bare wires. The bathrooms had tiles that hadn't been cleaned for years. For this hotel to claim 5 stars is tough to understand. I did not stay in any...

I can genuinely say this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms were absolutely disgustingly dirty. Walls in bathroom were covered in some unidentifiable marks which I'd rather not think about. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned and when we opened the door for the interconnecting rooms there was 7 layers of dust. The...
