Other reviews are spot on--this place is gross and not recommended. I don't care how good a deal you find on it, SPEND A BIT MORE & STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. All the reviews about the salty water in the showers & sinks are 100% true. It was disgusting. Management tells you "all hotels in Beirut are like this"--uh, no they're...

Stayed here for 3 nights in-between Christmas and New Year 2010, paid £80 a night so maybe cheaper other times of the year however for £80 a night I expect a better hotel than this! First impressions were ok as reception best part of the hotel, (although v smokey) however lifts, corridors and most of all the rooms were very...

We stumbled across the Marble Tower Hotel after a bad experience with the Embassy Hotel down the street. For US$70 nett per twin room (we had two twin connecting) with buffet breakfast and 24 hours complimentary WiFi from the lobby, we were truly impressed by their 'value-for-money' offer. Rooms are warmer, nicer and more spacious. Towels are white and not...

I stayed at the Marble Tower for four nights in October 2010. We paid 88 USD per day for a double room including tax and breakfast. The furniture in the room was not new, but in good shape. The room was quite spacious. Also, everything was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ok, but...

When we arrived in Beirut in April, we stayed at the Casa D'Or hotel, which was of much higher quality than the Marble Tower. However, their rates went up so much in May that when we returned to Beirut at the end of our trip, we decided to stay at the Marble Tower. The rooms there were much more dated,...

We were desperate as everywhere in Beirut was so over booked. We booked two nights at Marble Tower last weekend and it was the worse experience I have had in a very long time. The rooms were smelly (old sweat), the room was dark, ‘well worn’ as the Lonely Planet describe it is an under statement, paint was peeling off...

Marble Tower is pretty decent. It's right in the middle of Hamra, which is great. My room was small, but very clean. It was a bit overpriced (at $90/night for a single) but it was the middle of Eid, so I guess that's to be expected. The staff wasn't exactly friendly but they were decent enough. I'd go back, especially...

We stayed in Beirut over Eid, so it was a given that the hotels would be overpriced. We had single rooms that cost $110.00 each including tax and breakfast. The management was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fine, eaten in the newly refurbished dining room (only for breakfast right now). If only the rest of the hotel...
