My friend and I had a three day stay at the Hotel Alexandre. When we arrived, there was some confusion over the room as I had booked a twin room for us both but they tried to charge us more as there would be two of us staying in it. We were not told about wifi access codes or breakfast...

Although the hotel is not that new but it offers a good experience Its clean, friendly, very helpful staff and their breakfast variety is good Another thing worth mentioning is the hotel location, it is in the heart of Beirut close to night clubs, pubs and restaurants. Finding a hotel in the heart of Beirut with these great prices is...

I have been in this hotel with my family on July 2014, the hotel location is good and fit for our visit ........ However, the breakfast was so poor and we were asked not to use the electricity that much, since the power was disconnected once we used the water boiler .. !!!! Internet use was limited for us as...

I stayed in Hotel Alexandre for 3 nights while in town for a wedding. The whole stay was enjoyable except for a few little things here and there. The location is very convenient and EVERYONE (especially taxis) knows where the hotel is considering it is one of the oldest in Beirut. There are plenty of restaurants close by and the...

I went there on business and the hotel was chosen by the organization I work for. It is located in a safe area due to heavy military presence in the area. The build quality was excellent. Very clean. The room was very good. AC worked perfectly. Great bathroom and comfortable bed, but pillows were not satisfactory. Many small travel items...

Before I found an apartment, I stayed a couple of nights in Hotel Alexandre. And "basic" was the first word that came to my mind. All was there and clean (and everything worked) but all "basic". Sand-brown was the overall colour and it was depressing. My room was very small but the bed was OK. Desk was also very small...

I work for a humanitarian agency and find the Alexandre to meet my needs. It's clean, comfy, and has faster wifi in the rooms than other hotels I've stayed at in Beirut. Yes, some of the furniture is tired, the rooms and bathrooms could be larger, but I enjoy it. I agree with the more recent reviewers that staff is...

Very good hotel. Good location. Good staff. Nice rooms. Not very expensive. Nice restaurant. Very welcoming. Perfect also for business trips. It deserves its FOUR stars. It is really good. It shouldn't get any bad reviews.
