I stayed in Century Hotel for one night and I was so impressed by all the staff. Mr Jerick helped me with my booking and check in and he was very kind, helpful and friendly. Ms Julien and Jenevie from the front desk helped us a lot, because we had an anniversary and a lot of stuff to carry and they were very helpful, along with Mr. Robert who helped us with our luggage . We booked an apartment and we liked the design of the room which is modern, art deco and also the bathroom, the bathtub especially. The location of the hotel is just opposite to the National Museum, so it’s very easy to find it. We enjoyed our time and we are grateful that we met such a nice ad helpful staff.

I came here just for a day use of the hotel’s facilities and I have to say that I was impressed by all the staff that I’ve encountered. Marwan and Elma went over the top to make my day enjoyable. Had few treatments and also used the health club facilities. The hotel is very clean and art deco designed. Also very good location, just opposite the national museum which I highly recommend to visit, and close to the old part of the city where you can have a walk, try the traditional restaurants and buy souvenirs. Overall a great experience. I will definitely come back!

The hotel itself is actually great value. We were put up here by Qatar Airways after a missed connection, and for what it costs, it is actually great value. The room was satisfactory, the staff were friendly and the food was good. Some impressive spa and fitness facilities as well.

However, I must sadly knock off a star because of the incessant phone calls I received from the hotel reception. All I wanted to do was sleep after a nightmare of delays and the hotel staff called me FOUR TIMES, waking me up on each occasion. I asked them the third time not to call me again and they proceeded to do so.

Their reasons for calling included letting me know my luggage had arrived, advising me that lunch would be served in half an hour and then doing the same for dinner. Then when I actually called the reception over a query no one picked up the phone! The following morning I also received a series of unrequested "wake-up calls" when I was in the shower.

I would recommend staying here... but remember to pull out the phone cords before you go to sleep.

Hotel is quite good to stay but the staff is not responsible. There are 4 incidents in 2days 5more days to goo.... "Making my quarantine more bad"

1. Given a room which was already occupied by a man who yelled at me as it was 12a.m and without knowing we just went through the room as front desk agent gave me wrong keys and room no.
2 . Second time i went back to reception to change my room key he just changed the no. In the card holder not the 🗝️ key again. Is it a 4star hotel?
3. Ordered a veg food n they bring non veg and when i asked why this so ..they r replying as if it was my mistake like really.?????
4. Several times i told them to do room service after 8:30pm but just for the sake of finishing work they deliver it at same time when they wish to ,so that there work gets finish.
Management please it is a request train ur staff as they r not capable of working on a 4star hotel at this moment Or just train them properly you will be benfited.

Checked in room in midnight, floor was unclean (bread pcs on floor), washroom floor was sticky, WC was unclean, Hotels are taking advantages of Quarantine. 450QAR for full board ( food has no quality)

Breakfast- limited or no option for a vegetarian and there is no taste in food.

Lunch - asked pasta arabiatta, they sent mix sauce sweet past, and same morning breakfast chick pea with adding 2 pcs of cucumber and its became salad😅.

Complained was attended after 10-12 hours.

Super terrible experience not to recommend anyone.

I stayed in Century Hotel in Doha, Qatar, for two weeks. Mr. Tameem, the duty manager, plays such a responsible role to see guests are taken care of.

Ms. Angelica and Ms. Shara at the front desk, are hard working without losing the quality of care. Ms.Jenny in the cafeteria is kind and caring. Alma cleaned my room with great care.

The hotel rate is also very reasonable. I enjoyed my time in Qatar, because my stay at the Century hotel, was so comfortable.

So writing this review almost after 20 days, I booked century hotel via discover Qatar for a week from 31st to 5th June. From 3rd of june i started asking the reception that i have visa 3 months visa valid(on business trip) so would like to extend my stay for 20 days more. All of the people on reception said you can extend a day before. So on 4th of June a reception guy told me he cant give me discount but can move into the delux room. On 5th of june i went to office and my family suffered becuase that day they said we are fully occupied now you have to pay 300Qar to stay in same room. There sales manager was not cooperative at all, although saying if reception people has commited than i dont know. After so many arguments they agreed to extend me on same room with 250Riyal rates for a day. Since i was in Office my family was suffering with kid due to hotel staff. When i came back they asked me to move the room to another floor, WHen i went to see that room it was really suffocated and below standard. Very next day I checked out and went to double tee to spent peaceful days for myself and family. Very pathetic and disappointing services from Sales guy and recepiton people.

Arrived there with a voucher from Qatar Airways following overbooking for a few hours. Standard room for the country and category, but the electrical system, worthy of a cockpit, does not work; by dint of fumbling around in the dark, it is possible to turn everything on full or turn everything off and that's it... The window (on the 23rd floor) does not lock and lets in a draft and car noises . The room service menu could suggest a decent meal within the allowance granted by QA, but in fact, we were only entitled to a mediocre buffet billed... at the price of the allowance... The transfer necessarily brings us back at the airport 3 hours before departure while, already having a boarding pass, the various controls are completed in 10 minutes.

Disappointed of the Male Receptionist! (Indian/Bangladeshi/Pakistani) We waited for almost an hour, We came at 14:55 and he told us to wait for a minute and he took our QID for the check in process. But a lot of guests came in after we gave our ID and booking Ref, after 15mins I came back and follow up our check in because we have a booking also in Sultan Room a birthday celebration of my friend's daughter, He said please wait for a while but he catered the guests who came later than us. So I talked to the Filipina receptionist and she accommodated us as fast as 5 minutes only.

The room was awesome and the pool was good. The baggage handler is very respectful and very courteous. Sultan event suites was big enough for the 100 guests.

We were assigned to this hotel by Qatar airways as part of a flight delay and were supposed to spend 24 hours here.

The hotel room we were assigned was unreasonable (noisy air conditioning that didn't bring performance, room was hot). The nice receptionist rebooked us into a cooler "suite" which was very spacious but that was all that caught our eye positively. Unfortunately, the cleanliness is more than poor to describe and the room smelled bad (that only came out when you raised the air conditioning from the set 16 to 24 degrees).

Access to the restaurant through the elevator exit is confusing and far from inviting, you have to walk through corridors filled with dirty dish trolleys and other debris.

Incredibly actually, such a glittering city as Doha with some of the greatest buildings in the world offers such bad accommodation, to live here you either have to be forced by the airline or you have very little demand for quality.

No Recommendation for this hotel, even if the location is good if you want to visit the museum

If you go to their website, you can ask and get the answer straight away. There was a cost, and I figured out that taking a taxi is a bit cheaper. Taxi has a meter, and quite safe even if it is after midnight especially if you are not travelling alone. I do not remember how much, but it was quite a reasonable cost.
