Considering the price we paid the room wasn't clean and uncomfortable . The staff were unhelpful and we parked outside too far from the hotel. we didn't eat there in the evening. I cannot recommend this hotel.

With the current crisis, the guests are now mainly Arabs; any foreigners are usually journalists or diplomats. I was the only tourist staying in this hotel and so maybe I got special treatment but the staff just couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. Because there are so few foreign guests, breakfasts are Arab only, although you can get fried...

The hotel is located in the best area at Old Damascus. It's surrounded with very nice attractions such as (Bab Touma, Hannania Church, Bab Sharqi...etc) Staff are very nice and helpful. Cleanliness is great and room facilities are great. Unfortunately the current situation in Syria made this hotel empty and only few visitors were there. The house and the open...

This hotel is awesome - beginning with the beautiful courtyards, the well appointed rooms, wonderful food and ending with the most attentive and courteous staff. Well located, with a distinct local flavor at it's best! Not to be missed!

We stayed here two nights after an earlier stay at a different hotel in Damascus and a 3-night trip outside the city. It was comfortable and well located for sightseeing in the old city. The staff was attentive and arranged a reliable car to take us to the airport at 3:00 a.m. Room was a bit dim for reading, but...

Loved this hotel and loved Damascus. Only visited for 3 days with 2 nights spent at the Beit Al Wali Hotel. Very central located in the Old City within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. It truly is a beautiful hotel, staff very attentive, lovely breakfast and mahoosive bed in the room. Not sure about the canaries making...

A small hotel (about 20 rooms) located in the Christian quarter of old Damascus. The service was exemplary, with a staff working impeccably as a team and very focused upon making the stay a very enjoyable experience. The building itself is an old Damascene house, with several linked courtyards, beautifully appointed. The room we had was excellent, fronting onto the...

The location is perfect as it is within a walking distance from the most important sightseeing in Damascus + the popular market (Hamedeya)+ the best restaurants in town. As for the staff, it was incredibly nice, welcoming, always smiling, helpful & professional. Once you get in the "lobby" which is an open area near an old fountain, the waiter comes...
