My room was very big and clean. There was no problem with service for me, except the bored staff at 1st floor restaurant for dinner, which acted like they are not interested in guests. I liked the roof placed area with bar and swimming pool with view over the city and the famous mountain above the city. The location was...

We had the chance to stay for a few days in Damascus and had been booked to this hotel. The price is in comparison to the other hotels is very reasonable, but the charme of the hotel some years back needs a renovation. For business traveller who needs a location very close to the city centre and traffic-wise to be...

The hotel is ideally located adjacent to Martyrs Square and close to the old city and next to the National Museum. The location gives you the opportunity to explore other parts of the city other than the old town. The staff was very kind and nice but had trouble even locating their own hotel on a map?? The room was...

Let me start by saying that this hotel _was_ not my first choice. Why? Because of previous reviews and comments on here which are largely bad. Had desperately tried to make bookings at some other better-rated hotels but to no avail - because of the last minute plan on my part - so in the end, I ended up with...

Luggage delivered in the room one hour after arrival. Room not set up at 19h00, and half hour tio obtain it do be done. A man come to the room at 07h00 in the morning of your deeparture to check the minibar and so one ... No sound proofing. Unbelievable, considering the price of the rooms

The best aspect of this hotel was its proximity to the Old City of Damascus, just 4 or so blocks away from the entrance to the souk. And breakfast was pretty nice, particularly the made-to-order omelettes. The first room I had had a very small shower, and accoustics such that I could hear a phone conversation from the room next...
