Our flight arrived la paz at 2am and felt great that it allowed the late check in! The location is strategy and just 2 min walking distance to the San Francisco Church and local market. The staff here is friendly, but there are limited choices provided for breaksfast.

The rooms were big, usually with three beds when ony needed two. The staff were very helpful and polite, we stayed here three times, it's extemenly convenient for most parts of La Pax. Breakfast was available for a few hours and was adequate.

The hotel could not be any more central in La Paz. The famous Witches' Market practically at its door and only a 100 meters to the main axis of La Paz. Rooms are very roomy. The breakfast is perhaps a little bit on the sparse side. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here as part of the end of an Intrepid tour that started in Peru. The place creeped me out! However, the sheets were clean. The best shower in 15 days when you get the hang of all four shower knobs - two in shower and two that were situated at the base of an adjoining wall in bathroom. But caliente - mucho caliente! :) I kept my valuables on me. Didn't like to leave the expensive camera gear with reception when the lobby is being renovated. Definitely wasn't secure. The hotel was well situated to all the markets and the San Franciscan Church on the corner. The hotel breakfasts are not outstanding in any of the hotels I stayed in Peru or Bolivia except on our Macchu Picchu trek. We were fed like Kings! Eat out if you want a good feed!

Centrally located, with all the major La Paz sites within walking distance. The hotel offers a very basic experience. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms have descent enough shower facilities. It is a bit suspect as to whether or not the sheets are changed between travellers though. In fact, I had that suspicion for most of the hotels in Bolivia. I slept in my sleep sheet in all the hotels.

We stayed here as part of a tour. Firstly the owner (Manager?) and his staff were very helpful. The location is very central and it is in a great area to walk around in. The rooms we had were nothing flash and in fact pretty dated. The showers were HOT, sometimes the cold didn't work and you couldn't cool the boiling water down. Currently the reception area is being renovated. I agree with another reviewer, give the breakfast a miss and go next door to the Banais Cafe. We never had a bad meal there. And the cakes were delicious.

Eva Palace is central which is its best feature. Our room was large, but the sheets on the bed were probably older than our combined age. The shower was good, the water hot. Give the breakfast a miss and go a few doors down the hill to the Banais Cafe instead. The hotel owners were pleasant.

I stayed. at the Eva Palace in March for 5 days. It is a good place to stay. Bruno and his staff are great. The location is great and good value. Lots of shops and restaurants near by. The San Francisco Church and Plaza are short distance away.

This is probably one of the better hotels in La Paz, which is probably a shame for this country. The breakfast here is not the best and also the hotel is the not very clean. Also the architecture is very strange and kinda creepy. Looks like they expected this hotel to be very grand but ran out of money and started to cut corners. Location of the place was decent as there was an arts market near by and many restaurants that services tourist. I slept here in my clothes and not very happy about the bathroom. The only plus is that the staff is very nice and helpful as much as possible.
