We were feeling sick and needed extra toilet paper and, for our surprise, they said we could get only 1 per day and if we needed extra, we should go buy more at any store. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and asked to call the owner who confimed me the information. I had asked for a few rolls and apparently they were thinking we were going to steel the papers...If we didn't use them, we would just leave there. Horrible people with NO respect or sympathy for other human beings. Location: far from the touristic zone Breakfast: they leave jam, milk and hard breads at you door. Uncomfortable bed. Very thin curtains, so you basically sleep with lights (from the street ot the sun) in your face.

We stayed for 2 weeks in this nice accomodation, which is located in a quiet corner, about 30-40 min by foot or 10-15 min by taxi (without traffic jam!, 15-20 Bs) the city center. The apartment was very nice, tidy, had plenty of space and was well equiped with everything you need. There are many good restaurants, shops, laundries, a supermarket and a cable car station (nice!) very close to the house. The breakfast is delicious and comprehensive. One small issue was that the food (e.g. milk, butter, etc) were not automatically refilled, however don't hesitate to ask for such things; the staff was very friendly and helpfull. We can highly recommend this acommodation!

Absaloute Disgrace!! Me and my partner booked this place for the end of our trip as a relaxing 4 day type ending, but this Was far from the truth quite the opposite, a nightmare!! We go to check in after waiting at the front for 2 hours waiting for someone to let us in they sent us off for a few hours while the room was being prepared we come back to the receptionist (short lady with dark long hair)telling us we can only stay for half the days booked as they have booked somebody else for the other days. Confused tired and surprised and This not being our problem we continue to proceed with proof from our booking.com reservation that it has been confirmed with a man named Jorge on our email, The receptionist was not only unhelpful but was smirking along like it was a joke. We asked to speak to the owner, she rings him in Spanish and giggles throughout the conversation and hangs up before us having the opportunity to speak her response " the owner said go book somewhere else he doesn't care if you give him a bad review and he will not pay anything towards alternative accomodation" basically left us to work it out. We stayed at the casa Fusion and they were great!! Ps the photos don't match the description it's a lot older looking in person.…

We arrived via bus from Uyuni at 6:30am. I a previously asked the hotel if we could possible check in earlier. They said their hotel opens at 8am and we can not check in until 12pm but we can leave our bags at reception- fair enough. My Partner and I sat outside the hotel until 8.30 when a gentleman in a taxi let us in and aloud us to keep our luggage in. We decided to walk around and came back at 11am. The lady at the desk with glasses and straight black hair said we can't check in till 12. We said that's fine and we understand but would like to sit down. She asked four out details and said "your staying for 2 nights" confused I said no we booked for 4 NIGHTS and this was CONFIRMED by bookings.com and JORJE (a person who works there) who said he will meet us and be waiting for us (which he never was because apparently he was studying) We asked the rude lady at the desk as to why we received confirmation on both ends if there was only availability for two nights? She replied with a smirk on her face "I don't close the bookings and neither does Jorje so he did a mistake and maybe thought you can stay here for 2 nights and another two nights somewhere else" I was SHOCKED! This information was not provided to us prior to arrival because if it was we wouldn't have wasted hours walking around the streets killing time, instead we could've been looking at another RELIABLE hotel to stay. I felt like we were treated with utmost disrespect and unprofessional ATTITUDE. No apology was given until the lady at reception saw how upset I was. Not even an offer of water, when she knew how far we travelled. I also asked her to call bookings and she kept saying the numbers were not working and that we don't need to contact them - very sneaky. We once got a hold of bookings on our end so she was LYING We were looking forward to staying at this hotel after such a long bus ride and to be told last minute that they can not accommodate all 4 nights is just not on. She then said she will call her bos so we can talk to him, the two of them were conversing in Spanish and she then said he can't talk to US as he is at his other restaurant job and he said we can write as many bad reviews as we want - WOW what professionalism!!! We waited outside like dogs to leave our bags at reception to then be told hours later they can't accommodate us. I do not care how high this place has ranked but having an uneducated, unprofessional attitude is more than enough to not recommend this place to anyone. This accommodation is a quiet place to stay for few days in La Paz. The room is quite large, with a big bed and beautiful decoration. The teleferico station is very close to the hostel and it is very convenient to move toward the center of the city. The breakfast is rich with warm bread waiting outside the door in the morning.

I've stayed here on two separate occasions and found the staff friendly and accommodating. Both rooms I stayed in were spacious and great for independent travellers. The biggest plus for me was its location near the Mi Teleferico station, which made for a easy trip to & from the airport in El Alto (half time and price of cab).

This place is a gem if you like your independence, spacious clean rooms and cooking facilities. Only a few blocks from the yellow Telesferico line in Sopocachi, and close to Plaza España-. They don¨t attend 24 hrs so we had to pay on arrival, since we were leaving early in the morning. Rooms are great, individually designed with art from owners friends, and breakfast is already in the fridge for you - at seven am, someone will come by with fresh Marraquetas (bread) and hang it on your door. Enough heating for chilly Paceño nights, nice touch to have heating in the bathroom as well.
