This was a centrally located hotel, it was clean and has a nice seating area and a small restaurant for breakfast, The breakfast wasn't great and we had to wait for a while for extra food to come out but to be fair it was very busy. It has a great coffee shop next door. It is just around the... More

I really cant recommend staying here, although its VERY cheap our room was absolutely horrible. Sparks were coming out of the power extension chord hanging down from the TV, the room smelt horrible and didnt look very clean. The area its in too is awful and looked very unsafe. I'm glad we only stayed one night there (Got in at... More

Hotel was very nice and clean, but what made this a great experience was the hotel staff and their accommodating attitudes. We arrived in La Paz the morning of our night bus to Uyuni and we were able to store our bags for free at the hotel in a locked room, use the lobby WiFi and bathrooms until we had... More

Great location near by restaurants and handcraft stores. Helpful staff. The room and the bathroom are old however the hot shower is excellent. Good WiFi signal at the lobby, in the room it is very slow. Very basic breakfast.

Stayed for 2 nights at the hotel Sagarnaga. The hotel is centrally located close the main plaza and the city's cathedral. The staff on reception are friendly and helpful speaking reasonably good English. A basic buffet style breakfast is included and other items can be ordered for extra. The hotel also does laundry for 10 Bolivianos. The room and bathroom... More

I am not sure, why this hotel has such a good rank, since the rooms are not very nice and the shower was a pretty mess. A highlight of weirdness is the toilett seat though, with an inflatet ring to sit on. The breakfast is a joke by the way. Also, its not really cheap. Only really good thing is... More

We stayed a couple of days in this hotel. We had a very cheap room. Although the room was spacious, it wasn't very clean. We found a sigarette butt in the bathroom. Another downside was the lack of a heater. It was very cold, especcialy during the night. Benefits were the central location of the hostel and the price (which... More

The Sagarnaga has the best possible location. Between the witches market and San Francisco monastery, right within the stalls selling local crafts and the various tour operators. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and do their best to accommodate guest requests. Breakfast is basic - tea, coffee, orange juice for drinks, and fresh rolls or toast with butter and... Hotel below expectations. Not really cheap if you compare with other options in La Paz. Front desk staff tried to be helpful, but just 1 person speaks English. You can't call their crew as reliable one - one evening they promise you a packed breakfast, on the other day no one knows about it. You ask to call a taxi... More
