Very good hostel. Spacious rooms (I stayed in a 4 person dorm), all the beds have curtains and electrical outlets. Friendly and helpful staff, nice spaces to hangout. Breakfast is not included with dorm rooms, but is worth the 12.000 pesos. Very delicious and as much as you

We had 3 beautiful days in Bogotá and in the Masaya hostel. The location of the hostel couldn't be any better, it's right in the middle of the famous quarter "la Candelaria". Close by is a little plaza frequently filled by students enjoying coffee in sweet little cafés. La

I traveled to bogota on a short solo trip, and I easily met other travelers here. They had live music 3 nights in a row, and plenty of people went out each night. Comfy beds, and the bathrooms were pretty clean. I’d stay again!

How close is this hostel to the airport? We only have 24hours between flights
I would still stay here so you can see old town bogota :) worth it and not much else around the airport if I remember as far as sightseeing goes. We only spent a day here (two nights) and felt it was totally worth it!

Hello Tasha, In Masaya Hostel, we want people to relax and to rest. We're not a party hostel at all. We may have 1 kid or 2 in the hostel but most of them are educated :) I recommend the private rooms for more privacy and silence. The budget double room is a very nice option: it costs only $60.000 / Night (breakfast not included and shared bathroom but a big Queen size bed just for you).

"I really enjoyed my private room and bath"
"There are 2 double rooms next to the bar area that can be a bit noisier. If you are sensible to noise ask for a quiet room."

"Bunk beds are great as they have curtains surrounding each one for privacy "
"I'm sure they are all pretty similar "
