I stayed at Hotel Invest for six nights during a work trip. I loved the wandering peacock and exotic birds that lived on the hotel grounds. Great open restaurant and pool area. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable although the room was a bit dark. The hotel had free WIFI which worked most of the time - when it didn't...

I spent 3 nights at the Hotel Invest over the last month. Rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. Very nice working bathrooms. The hotel grounds are lovely with a lot of space. 2 out door restaurant areas, swimming pool and bar area are very popular. Area is safe due to proximity to the broadcasting services offices ( next...

Second time I stayed in Hotel Invest, not because the rooms or service are so good but for their lovely garden. In a town like Kinshasa, this garden (with pool) is (for me) really necessary to relax. The facilities in this hotel are quite basic but acceptable.

The Hotel Invest de Presse charges western prices for their rooms, though sadly, the rooms are not really up to that standard. At best, this would be a two star hotel in the west, but here in Kinshasa, this is one of the better hotel options. To start with, the entrance and reception area hardly suits the hotel and I...

The hotel facilities are quite basic but acceptable. The garden around the hotel is nice and large with some animals in cages. Breakfast is nothing to talk about. Room was small and air conditioning noisy. Location is a little bit far from the city centre but has good road connectivity

this hotel shocked me when i arrived in the night. the facade looked like an abandoned building, the entrance and reception area is so tiny with very old furnishing (looked worn out). the receptionist did his job with much reluctance and after asking for internet connection (extra charge) he told me it is 5 USD for 24hrs. - i had...

A pity that the tranquility and cleanliness of this hotel is spoilt by the horrendous staff service. Be prepared to be shouted at if you take more than one fruit from the 'buffet' breakfast. The only friendly staff member is the guy who feeds the caged animals, I did'nt get his name though.

Kinshasa is a very expensive city, even for a UK visitor like me! This Hotel does the job at $145 a night for a room for 2.. The rooms are tired and oldish but clean and well serviced - The bed; nice and firm with clean sheets, very small TV with satellite channels (about 5 in total) the bathroom small...

It is sadly impossible to find a reasonably priced, safe hotel in Kinshasa. Decades of kleptocracy and civil disorder ruined whatever economy there had been. The current massive UN presence awash in hard currency guarantees that all the best hotels, restaurants, goods and services in town are enjoyed (sometimes almost exclusively) by the UN peacekeepers and officials, which drives prices...
