I tried this hotel during one of the many stopovers in Yangon before heading of to Nay Pyi Taw.

It is great! Friendly staff, clean as it was recently renovated/built, and near the Airport. They also.provided me with a box breakfast because i had an early flight and would miss my breakfast.

I really think this hotel is a great find. There may be noises of people walking past the corridor but it was quiet later in the night.

Its small rooms but handy and sufficient.

Good place and will go there again.

The staff is the best feature of the hotel. Food is above average, and rooms are clean. I booked this location for two different dates. The first time I was in a room at front of building... it was noisy outside the entire night for various reasons... I was there nearly a week. On my return trip I was on the back side of hotel and it was much quieter, but bed was super hard... and I like hard beds. It was economical. The white temple is nearby. I would rate this higher if it weren’t for the lack of rest.

As often in Myanmar, very good hotel quality is rare. The Rose Palace Hotel is a good place with a very attentive and friendly staff, but it is far from perfect. The room is comfortable but there was no hot water in the bathroom, it was barely warm. The night we spent was not really quiet as there is a sky bar on the top floor, there was probably a birthday, and the round trips of guests from the bar were very noisy. The breakfast was not really good, "Chinese" buffet with noodles and vegetables, or fried egg and cold bake beans (surely served directly from the can without even reheating). In summary, as often in the country, disappointed experience. But it is a good choice for the night before take an early flight.

Me and my daughter had a very poor service massage we had at the Rose Garden hotel's spa on 13th of Jan. The spa manager, her communication was kind of rough, not very polite, as she should rather be selling fish in the wet market. I had a foot massage. We are very seasoned taking massage both in Thailand and in Myanmar. We know what we want. So I had requested the manager to give select me the experience masseur who would give me a hard pressing and soothing foot massage. Did not meet my expectation even though I had asked her to give me a proper pressing. On top of that she had cheated the time. My daughter had the same experience with the body massage she had taken at the same time. No water, coffer was offered. No checking of whether did we enjoy the service and how did we experience.

Later, I told me daughter to check the rooms while we are here. The receptionist did not reply to our request whether there is a show room available. She pretend was busy and she later reply all rooms are occupied and we may need to come back in the afternoon.

We find this hotel, un-friendly, un-professional staff who does not see customer/ guest are important. Please, if you are looking for this kind of poor service, this would be the right hotel or otherwise, do not go there to try their service. You will regret and end up wasted your money.

I booked a Junior Suite as I liked the description in Agoda. Contrary to those facts, room size couldn't be more than 300 sqft. No kitchenette, no house keeping, no access to lounge. So disappointing. I stayed at room 705. Car parking was not convenient too. I was pretty occupied enough not to make complaint. Actually, I didn't have time to enjoy staying in the room even if it were well equipped as it was said so.

As part of a month long trip to Myanmar , we spent three nights in Yangon . After much research , we decided to book this location as it was a brand new hotel and although there was a lack of reviews , it seemed very nice . I have to admit we were nervous but ....
We could not have found a better hotel , location and staff .

This hotel is in a nice quiet neighbourhood in Yangon , close to the airport and has views of temples nearby . Such a serene place to wake up to with a temple out your window . With all the craziness and hours of traffic jams in Yangon , the location makes perfect sense .
We have been to Yangon before and stayed near crazy busy congested and dirty downtown , but we will never again !!

The hotel is 15 minutes from the must see golden Shwedagon pagoda , a few minutes from the tooth relic pagoda , close to the golf course and yet in a very local and quiet area .

The restaurant on the 8th floor serves chef prepared food and is open all day . The breakfast was great .
The rooms are great . Being brand new , there is nothing that we could complain about .
The staff is excellent . They will pick you up at airport , and they will arrange anything you need . They even fixed my suitcase zipper which was damaged by the airline . All at no charge . 100% service . Maybe even 150% service

At the prices they offer , this is crazy great deal .. book it before it’s no longer a secret

Have to go to airport next day and we all decided to book this Hotel. Upon check in, it took us about 30 minutes though there were no other guests checking in. We decided to eat at Hotel and went up to restaurant at 8:30 pm. Ordered assorted sea food and chicken. After finishing dinner, My Indonesian friend started to vomit out first around 11 pm and all three of us got terrible diarrhea. Peter kept on vomiting for the whole night and got running stomach. We complained about that to reception and restaurant staff in the morning. But they were not really interested to solve or to apology but they all were trying to get their bill for restaurant only. We refused to pay which caused us diarrhea but she just kept on insisting us to settle for restaurant. Our guide did sort out problem at last but we decided to NOT COME OR RECOMMEND this bad hotel to anyone.

We needed a hotel for one night, as we would fly back home early the next morning after an evening flight from Mandalay. After a lot of research in the forums I discounted the Yangon Airport Hotel as an option, as the reviews were not that great, and instead did a map search to find other more highly rated nearby hotels on TripAdvisor. Through that I came across this brand new hotel, that only had 5 reviews (therefore was pretty hard to find in the conventional list of rankings), but after reading a few more reviews in different bookings sites, we decided to go for it, as it was only for one night anyway and even cheaper than the airport hotel.

It was a great surprise how great this place was! It’s brand new and it still smells new! Rooms are not huge, but the location is great for the airport (just 10 min taxi/Grab ride), in a lush, super-quiet and very posh-looking area of Yangon (all the houses surrounding it were one/two storey and had gardens and were beautifully tended to. We got a room on the 8th floor and the views from the window and (tiny) balcony were amazing, with a few temples and pagodas glittering in the dark and shining in the haziness of the early morning. Breakfast was cooked to order and quite a good spread, and as it seemed we were the only guests at the time we got all the stuff’s attention.

The hotel is modern, nicely decorated and although a 30-min taxi ride to downtown, a much quicker ride to the trendy restaurants of the Inya lake area.

Only negative was that the bed was stuck on the wall on one side (pet hate of mine), I would advise the management to get a double instead of a king size bed and leave some space around + add bedside tables and lamps and it will be perfect! Also the shower has no surround, so the bathroom becomes a bit of a wet mess when you take a shower, but with the extractor on it dries really quickly (a bath mat/floor towel would be welcome though, but was not provided).

Overall a great place that deserves more customers and more reviews, at least a fantastic and very reasonably-priced option for those who need to stay near the airport.

Air-con: Yes
Fridge: Yes (but made so much noise we had to turn it off)
Safety deposit box: Yes
Hairdryer: Yes
Free Wi-Fi: Yes, but didn’t seem to work while we were there
Toiletries: Shampoo, shower gel, body cream
Towels: Head and body towel, no foot towel/bath mat
Breakfast included: Yes
Walkable distance from city center: No
Bedside tables & reading lights: None
Luggage racks: None, but there was a desk where one suitcase could fit
Freebies: 2 x 500 ml purified water bottles, vanity set, comb etc.

My 1st my impression of this hotel was good. So I recommended my friends to check in as well. But the hotel continues to disappoint a 2nd consecutive time. How can this hotel allow overbooking of rooms and expect affected guest to compromise either to a lower quality hotel or to expect us to just combine our rooms? If the basic honoring of guest's booking can so easily be comprised, how can we ever trust this hotel again? To make things worse, we even went down personally to the hotel a few days before our check in date to ensure the hotel has our booking correctly received due to the prior similar incident happened in December 2018 when the hotel also says no room for us after we booked the rooms. Then now for the 2nd time suddenly say they have offered our rooms to other guests upon check in again? If this is genuinely an oversight, then I suggest the owner of the hotel to either train your staff properly or review if the stuff is suitable to represent your hotel.
