Like those fast food commercials where you're shown a picture of a mouth-watering burger and in reality ger something entirely different, so it was with the Clover hotel. Those bright orange leather chairs have almost turned black from wear and there were heavy usage marks on almost all furniture. The room was also much smaller than it appears in the...

Well situated at walking distance from the magnificent Shedagaon pagoda and the pleasant Gandawkyi park. Clean and comfortable rooms, good service by pleasant people. Effective free WiFi and backup power. Centrally located with taxi available at any time. The restaurant at the 7the floor provides bland food but the view compensates. Decent restaurants at walking distance. A safe place to...

Situated near Shwedagon Pagoda and Lake this is good place to stay for business and pleasure. Have wifi and buffet breakfast in a rooftop restaurant on 7th floor. Rooms are decent for the price and clean.

Nothing was too much for the staff to organize, including a memorial service at a nearby Buddhist Monastery. Hotel dining area on top floor has fantastic view of Shwedagon Pagoda, some very nice vegetable tempura to accompany a cold beer and a fairly decent breakfast. However, I really didn't like the satiny sheets - they were slippery and uncomfortable. Cotton...

We are lucky to get an upgrade to suite. But even normal one it's still spacious, clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff are always there to answer your question, they won't earn a commission if you ask them to call a car or other services. Flexible to early check-in (this is important due to overnight buses and midnight flight...

One of the best medium size hotels in Yangon. Unbeatable location - 20 minutes walk to Shwedagon Temple and 30 minutes drive to the airport. Clean, very well arranged rooms, Good quality of wifi, Check-in / check-out process without any problem. Hotel worth to stay in. Welcoming and helpful staff. Only there was a small selection of afternoon meals. Slightly...

This was my second stay in this hotel. It is conveniently located. The room is spacious and there are a lot of space to put your things, so the room design is good. However, the ventilation might not be good, and the floor become soaking wet after some time. Maybe cannot be help it during the rainy season? TV channels...

Stayed for three (non-consecutive) nights as part of a World Expeditions tour. Unremarkable frontage, very few points restaurants/attractions nearby. Streets outside very dark at night. 15 minutes to Kandawgyi Lake, the surrounding park is a pleasant walk. Rooms were clean and comfortable with large screen tv's, safes, and good air conditioning. Beds would be quite firm by western standards. The...

Located in downtown Yangon; hotel rooms nice and neat. We stayed there in between travelling to other states in Myanmar. They are very accomodating and easy to deal with. They kept our big luggages in their storeroom while we travelled. We happened to left our safe unlocked few times and nothing was stolen. We really appreciate trusthworthy staff at Clover....
