I was back in Yangon and had a great stay at the ambassador hill hotel, again. The staff is very friendly and service oriented. I asked for a pagoda view room and I was assigned a loft room with pagoda view. Towels were changed every day and the room was immaculate clean. Breakfast was very fresh and delicious. They use water bottles of glass and avoid plastic. Love the environmentally friendly attitude. They have budget rooms as well but the pagoda view room was worth the extra money spent. I also enjoyed the work out room! It is a great peaceful hotel in the Golden valley of Yangon. My home away from home. Love it!

Having had a great stay at Ambassador Hill in Yangon again.
Given the current situation in Myanmar, I am still impressed about the hospitality and level of service at Ambassador Hill Hotel. It is a safe place in the central Golden Valley Area of Yangon. Very quiet at night. The upgraded restaurant offers some delicious food - I just ordered with the receptionist. So no need to leave the hotel for food. But there are also good food options near by, e.g., Paramilitary Pizza if you feel like having a ‚Italian Break‘ 😀 Taxi or Grab is readily available. Happy staying here again !

Htun and his team were great. The corner room was spacious with an amazing view of the Shwedagon Pagoda. Green and upscale neighborhood. Easily accesible with Grab (taxi). The Shan noodles at the restaurant were really yum too.

Based on the positive reviews we booked this hotel - thanks god only for one night.

We booked a room with pagoda view. Opening the window we saw in approx. 1m distance the dirty wall of the neighbours house.

The room itself smelled funny. AC very loud (but working), it was ok-clean. We only received one towel. When we asked for a second one the staff either ignored us or didn’t understand us (we are not sure). All together very disappointing. There are lots of hotels in Yangon that are in the same price range and much better!

Dear Ms. Jana, We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We are always trying to meet the wishes of our guests and this is also shown by the previous evaluations. Our reception does not only speak English - we could have communicated with you in German as well. It is a pity that your concerns did not reach the management - we would certainly have found a more than satisfactory solution for you. We hope you enjoyed your time in Myanmar nevertheless. With the best wishes Your hotel management

POS machine is broken and can't use bank card. During blackout at night, generator broken down as well. Had to sit in the dark for hours. There are mosquito in the room and can't sleep well. Woke up morning with the noise of drilling and banging from renovation. Cannot use wifi in the room. only 3 or 4 free tv channels. terrible experience. waste of money.

I had a few days of work in Yangon in Spetember, so I was wondering which hotel to stay. Because I had been here previously, I decided to come back as I liked the boutique style hotel in a more quiet area. And I had a fantastic time here. I got a nice room with pagoda view and the staff was attentive and helpful as always. In addition, I realized they have moved the breakfast place into the garden. So I was able to work with my laptop there and have coffee and drinks. This area was available all day and in the evening as well. So a nice change for me and not to be at my desk in my room all day.
I will be back, for sure next time I have an assignment in Yangon.

Ambassador Hill is in a great location in a very nice neighborhood, close to all the places we wanted to see in Yangon. The warm service made us feel welcome, and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The food at the restaurant is just delicious and the staff always friendly and willing to help. This lovely little hotel is an incredible value, and we will definitely stay here next time we are back in Yangon.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Ambassador Hill. The staff was friendly and caring. The facilities are apparently newly renovated and modern. The breakfast was o.k. and the location was perfect for us. The friendliness and service provided was great.

The Ambassador Hill has become my second home whenever I am back to Yangon. This time I realized that they are becoming more eco friendly and they are focusing more on local market products. Plastic water bottles have been substituted by glass bottels. And the quality of the Food and the Level of Service are still amazing. I love to stay at this hidden gem in Yangon.

A place of peace inside Yangon. Beautiful view, birds chirping, silent road… Nothing to complain about. The service is great. I had an early flight and they offered me breakfast one hour prior to their regular time. Really nice of them!
