This family-run boutique hotel became our home away from home as we traveled in Georgia. The neighborhood and location are perfect, with easy access to restaurants and the Metro. We had a lovely room always impeccably clean. We are so grateful to our hosts, who helped us with airport transportation, travel logistics, and overall kindly welcomed us each day during our stay.
Our time at this hotel was so comfortable, not only because of the impeccable cleanliness and physical comfort of our room, but the incredible service of the staff. It felt like a family run bed and breakfast, with a very personable touch. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answer any questions or requests we had. When my father was unable to make the trip due to covid, they even gifted as a little bottle of Georgian wine as a courtesy to deliver to him as a gift! It goes without saying that the location was impeccable, we barely even needed to use taxi or public transit (we are avid walkers) because of the centrality of the location. I loved being in a lived in neighbourhood close to so many hip new restaurants, and faaaar from the tourist bustle.
A very unique boutique hotel. Our stay during our vacation started on a very positive note with the start from this hotel. Everything in this hotel was up to the required level of perfection. The rooms were cozy and clean. We had a great breakfast every morning. Though the items in the breakfast repeated, but we were comfortable by the amount of attention given everyday
A cozy boutique hotel in which everything is at the highest level - location, comfortable room, high speed internet, varied delicious breakfast and most importantly, very friendly and helpful staff .I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel
My wife and I drove up to Tbilisi from Yerevan with our 7 month old son for our first anniversary, and we were very pleased with everything — the owner of the hotel greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our room, which was a huge immaculately clean suite with windows onto the treelined street below. We really loved how intimate the place feels, and the level of hospitality on the part of the staff is perhaps the best I've ever experienced in any of the 40 some countries I've traveled to. Being with our son, it was quite difficult some mornings to get downstairs with him to eat breakfast, and the staff were quick to help us out and bring our breakfast to our room instead. Also, the breakfast was delicious, and was slightly different every morning but there was always an assortment of different meats, khachapuri, fresh local fruit, cheeses, pastries, and of course coffee! It's obvious that they put a lot of care into making sure that you have a great start to your day. This excellent service, along with the relatively small size of the hotel, really makes you feel like you're staying in a very exclusive and luxurious place. Hotel British House is without question high up on the list of my favorite hotels in the world, and we will certainly be coming back!…
I loved my stay here, nice people and nice and cosy rooms :) If I'm coming back i'll definitely stay here again. Anyways Georgia is an amazing country and Tiflis is one of my favourite cities cant wait to be back.
Great hotel! 3 minute walk to the central Avenue. Decorations amaze me all the time.Super individual breakfast with national cuisine and warm, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. I had a very good experience , and happy to stay there again!
This is a lovely hotel, I’m very impressed with the service. The breakfast was amazing. The whole team was very hospitable. The room was comfortable with all necessary facilities. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend “British House”.
The entire staff at this charming boutique hotel was warm and helpful and utterly charming. The rooms are each unique and comfortable, the breakfast is enormous and the location is walking distance from so many things you will want to see. The lobby and reception area is loaded with artifacts and objet d'art that will fascinate you. Enjoy your stay!
If you want to feel that you are not a visitor and you are leaving in Georgia, definitely you need British House (even it’s a pure Georgian House). Very good place in the center of Tbilisi but in very calm leaving area. Lose to any destination and at same time no noise, no traffic and no bars/restaurant and so on. It’s a House. From other hand: the personal there are very kind and helpful. They let you feel you are visiting your family in Tbilisi. I already rebooked to visit Tbilisi in 3 month from now, and I do not need to search for a place. I have great one
