Top hotel in the heart of city. Close to gangnam. Good choice of food, great service. Close to samseong station. Great during winter. You can take a metro gangnam & enjoy the Seoul nightlife. Nearby coex mall.
A sudden business trip to Seoul in busy holiday period left me little choice of available hotels in Gangnam area. Luckily, Coex Intercontinental had one room available.

A large business hub, Samseongdong is anchored by Korea’s World Trade Center, where many important business exhibitions and meetings are held. The enormous COEX mall sprawls underground, providing a myriad of things to do and see, including a large aquarium and movie theater. For a bit of peace and zen, head over to the ornate Bongeunsa Temple which is one of Korea’s most important places of worship. Or
take a stroll nearby through the tranquil royal burial grounds of Seonjeongneung, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
