Hotel has good location. We got two rooms with big bathroom, shower and bathtub. Two big LCD TV. Stayed for two nights before we could find rooms in another hotel.

Love Motel. Dark, one regular light bulbs, small shotgun windows, poor hygiene at least in our less used twin-bed room, can't cool down because of floor heating.

If you can tolerate love motel style not bad.

As long as you go knowing that it is a tacky love hotel, you won't be disappointed! It's a little overpriced, but the location is great - just a stone's throw from the end of Insadong and close to the subway, too. Enter, if you dare, through the discreetly screened parking garage with its ceiling all aglow with twinkly lights! Obtain your key through the peephole front desk window, then enter the gilded elevator with its golden settee!! The rooms were meant to be luxurious, but fell short a bit. We had a good laugh at the light show over the bed and in the sitting area (disco, anyone?), and if the bathroom (especially the shower) had been a bit cleaner (there was some mildew in the shower), it really would have the potential to be luxurious with its soaker tub, deluxe toilet with many functions and many hair and skin products. No complaints about the amount of space or the comfort of the beds. Our "couples suite" room even had TWO desktop computers, not to mention TWO gazillion-inch flat-screen wall-mounted TVs.

Funny stay, funny experience... put your sense of humor on and go for it!

Good and Cheap hotel, yes it's used as a love hotel by locals but the rooms are clean and modern. In an area close to the palace, check in was really fast. It's in an alley but the hotel is really well lit and doesn't look shady. 8/10 Would stay again.

We booked Le Mong Hotel last minute and was a little worried about the hotel due to the lower ratings. But OH GOSH HOW I LOVED THIS HOTEL. It was a super cute, very beautifully furnished small to middle-level Hotel. I loved our check-in receptionist girl Kelly so much. She was so kind and helpful to us every time we approached her. This hotel is our hotel now, we will always be booking here.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is a dump. It is in shady part of the city and you drive thru a curtain to get to the parking lot. The check in desk is a tiny peephole. The rooms don't feel safe or clean. I am not sure the parking lot is very secure. The rooms smell of cigarette and there are ashtrays and lighters int eh room. They hand you a vanity pack with condoms when you check in. There are supplies in the room - used hairbrush/comb, used flipflops for the shower, air freshener. Despite this, there is a humongous TV screen and computer in the room - probably where people watch porn. I had to sleep with a light on in the room.

I think the bad reviews here are because the hotel used to be a lodging house. That's no longer the case. The location is great, the rooms are nice and breakfast is included. Everything is designed in a French style.
