Dear Ms./Mrs.

I am Nuh Atila, and I made a reservation for accommodation at Niagara Hotel in Seoul from 09.04.2024 to 13.04.2024. I have made a payment of 351,000 won for the reservation.

However, while checking the reservation details, I realized that I accidentally canceled it. Immediately the next day, I rebooked the same reservation and made another payment of 351,000 won. The refund for the payment I made for the initial reservation has not yet been credited to my account, and I am facing inconvenience due to this situation.

I have contacted Booking.com, and they have informed me that a message needs to be sent regarding the refund of my previous payment. I kindly request your assistance in this matter and ask for the refund of the payment for the previous reservation to be credited back to my account.

I would appreciate it if you could get back to me as soon as possible regarding this issue.

Best regards,
Nuh Atila

As they advertised on their website, you can get a nice river view from their rooms. I've stayed there for 4 nights, and yes indeed, it was trully wonderful to enjoy the river view either during the day or the night. The room was clean and bed was soft, air-con operated fine and you can get 2 bottles of water for free. Access to the hotel is easy, you can either use the airport shuttle bus near the hotel ( 15,000 won),or the subway line no.9, getting of at yeomchang station exit 2. There's lots of restaurants nearby and you can have various choices. Also there is a convenient store in the corner. They don't have swimming pool and fitness center, sauna is what they have but is only for men.
However, there was no iron and iron board in room so it would be a little inconvenient for business travelers. And if you'd like to use the internet, better bring your laptop rather than ipad with you coz they only have wired internet instead of WIFI in room. You can get WIFI only in the lobby, which was very weak and was on and off time to time.
The buffet breakfast was very simple and poor.

A nice and clean hotel with helpful and kind stuff. the location was very good as it was near to my local host office. nearby there are many different restuarents. it is not really the center of seoul but if you are looking for an hotel in this area, it can be a very good choice. price is not very low though i have nothing to compare with other hotels in the same level in Seoul.

My room was fair with a bed like concrete, I had to use blankets for padding! One colleague had some of her belongings accidentally thrown away! The language barrier is huge, with the majority of staff having a couldn't care attitude. I was grateful for one young man who tried very hard with me! Their are no onsite laundry facilities and the sauna is men only. The breakfast buffet is to be only attempted if you get a free deal! I was provided with this hotel but it is not in a convenient location for those wishing to visit the Seoul tourist areas

To summarize my impressions: an o.k. hotel for a business traveller, not more, not less. Granted, I was lucky and got a very nice room on 12th floor with a nice view over Seoul and the river, amenities, free and quick WiFi, but I also have to critisize a few points: staff is mostly attentive if they are not playing on their mobile phones. I entered the lobby several times and none of the staff behind the reception even noticed that I had entered and gone directly to the elevators. Another issue is that most staff don't have sufficient command of the English language which, in my opinion, is imperative to run an international business hotel. The third issue was the breakfast buffet. I stayed there for five days and it was the same-same every single day, greasy little sausages, runny scrambled eggs, slices of ham swimming in some grease, and a really tasteless porridge. I would like to have seen at least some change but unfortunately haven't. Finally, one evening I came to the hotel late and had to notice that room service forgot to tidy it. Upon leaving to go to have dinner I mentioned this fact to the reception staff and when I came back they had replenished the little shampoo and shower gel bottles in the mean time (for which I never asked for) but the room was still not made...

We started out with arriving from the USA on delta air arriving at Inchon airport. I had sent a note to the hotel asking about directions and they were sparse but said get off the 9 at yeomchang station. Ok so we followed the signs in the airport to the subway. Bought a pass that was probably the easiest subway purchase we have ever made and proceeded to the trains. The train at Inchon only goes one way so that was painless. Got on the train and remembered seeing it was maybe 30 minutes to our change to the next subway. We were concerned about how we would know where to get off - imagine they say the name of the next stop in English! So we got off at Gimpo airport and changed to the 9 now this we tried to over think but it was so simple we were able to make it. The direction posted is really the "next station" and the final direction. Now what was cool about this hotel was its at a stop both from the express and the local. We caught the express and two stops and we were there. There was a wonderful Korean person that said "you look confused" and we said we weren't sure how to get to our hotel from here. She said go out door # 2 and then we walked two blocks and turned left. Walked another two blocks down a street with no sidewalk and at the end we looked to the right and there was the hotel. It's 12 stories with BW Niagara on the top in 10 foot letters. We came into a very nice lobby and at the front desk they had our key ready.
We were on the 9th floor non-smoking. Came into the room and it's real pretty. King bed that is pretty hard but comfortable. Big picture window with a view of the river. They had a light system by the bed that's a bit confusing. We slept with one light on all night because we didn't realize that the panel that looks like a radio if you touch the buttons they turn on and off the lights. The bathroom is very nice and the toilet set is heated. How nice. There are two bottles of water in the mini fridge that say complementary. The room was surprisingly wonderful. They even have wonderful bars of soap much bigger than we expected.
Breakfast in the lobby was part of the price and it was a good one. Plenty of choices. Across the street is a Korean barBQ where you cook at your table. It's a "must do".
We found our way back to the subway and found it easy to get to the city by subway every day. Take the 9 two to three stops to the Densang. Change to the 2 and ride to "city hall" and everything you want to see is around there. Never took a taxi while we were there. The subway is so very clean and efficient. Best we have seen in the world so far.
Only down side to the hotel is the front desk staff don't speak much English but then that's pretty much all over seoul. Never encountered much in the way of English speaking.

Visited Seoul to attend a friends wedding. The hotel is modern and has very nice decor. However we were very disappointed with the breakfasts. The breakfast is typical buffet style , however on inpection it was not very appealling . We had to ask for food to be replentished and this was still not very good quality. I am not a fussy eater and a big breakfast eater however after paying $17 Aus the first morning and being disappointed we chose to have coffee and pastry from the street at half the price for the remainder of our 5 day stay, if breakfast was improved I would say this hotel was a pleasant place to rest your head, the rooms were quiet , we had a view of the river and the staff pleasant and spoke good english.

Plus: easy to get to convenient location if you need to be in this part of town. Bus from Inchon airport directly to hotel door.

Minus: this is not a business hotel it is properly labeled as a tourist hotel. Rooms are decent size, clean and reasonably appointed. The front staff sort of speaks English but not the rest of the staff. Food is average. Many Korean restaurants in the neighborhood in walking distance and convenience stores.

Minus: annoying nuisances like $10 charge if you lose your plastic key. Air conditioning does not work, staff says it is shut off until summer. So you have your choice: roast and suffocate, or leave the window open and be kept awake by traffic noise. Not a non-smoking hotel, getting cigarette smell from adjoining rooms even though room is non-smoking

Summary: If traveling on business leave this one to the tourists, pay a few bucks more and get a business hotel proper air-conditioning and non-smoking floors.

For a clean, safe hotel with a great view, this is a great hotel. The internet in the room is free, but you'll need to connect via an ethernet cable as wifi is only available in the lobby (notes about that later). My local rep has always gathered me at the airport so I've never had to use the public transportation. I have stayed here about 3 times over the years and the room/service has been good and consistent. I've found that the front desk speaks some English, but weren't the most fluent. I've not stayed at any other hotels in the area, so I really don't have anything to compare this hotel.

Breakfast: they provide quite a spread for breakfast, buffet style. I had luke warm scrambled eggs, cold french fries and cold sausages. They also had a number of Korean offerings for breakfast, but I tend to what i know for breakfast. Everything tasted good, but could have been warmer.

Internet: I find it hard to complain about any hotel that offers free internet and wifi. The only issue I had was this evening I wanted to make a FaceTime call on my iPad which requires a wifi connection. So I headed to the lobby and there were no places to sit as many other people had the same idea as myself. So I sat at one of the restaurant tables only to be chased away being told: we're closed. I asked if I could sit there to make a call and they said no. I ended up sitting on the floor near the front door to make my call about 10 feet from the table I tried to use.

I also found the wifi to be unreliable for 'iDevices'. It seems that once you are connected you are good to go, but getting my iPhone to connect was very frustrating. I connected fine in the morning, but when I returned in the evening it wouldn't connect.

Air Conditioner: The HVAC system at the Hotel has two modes: Heat or Cool and the whole building is set to one or the other. So if you happen to travel here between seasons where it isn't quite cool enough for heat, but warm enough for AC and the hotel has changed from Cool to Heat, then you have to rely on the very small window to allow cool air into your room because if you turn on the AC you'll only get heat. This trip isn't so bad, but I've been here in the past where the daytime outside temps were in the 80's F, but in the cool evenings the only option for the A/C was heat as the whole building was set for winter and heat. So I turned off the AC and opened my window and slept on top of the sheets.

Overall it is a nice hotel. My rate was 154000 Won including breakfast. I may look around next time to see what my options are next time to see if I can get wifi in my room or I'll bring my own little router (i.e. Apple Airport Express).

I've stayed for 2 nights in Niagara Hotel during my business trip. I should admit that the view of the room is really very nice. The room was clean and confortable. The bathroom has jacuzzi.

The staff was quite helpful. I had a little accident and the bathroom has flooded. They directly changed my room wthout any question and sent a nice -free- breakfast to my new room.
