Clean and cheap hostel in the center of the city. Close to the main square and the Egyptology museum and in an area full of options for drinking, shopping and eating. Rooms, bathrooms and the kitchen are kept clean. It's a great value and you cannot ask for more for the price honestly. Staff is nice and competent.

10 mins.walking to Egyptian Museum & Tahrir square. Large social area at rooftop. Good to meet with other travellers. 7th floor but has elevator. Breakfast is extra but decent price. Fast internet. Helpful staff. Small rooms.

Very helpful staff. Lovely open-air communal areas with views of the city. A 5-minute walk from the Egyptian museum and the Nile's east bank. This place, along with Cairo in general, is at the time of writing an exceptional value.

My review is really in two parts. As a hostel Dahab is really great. It's great value, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is easily affordable and you are right in the heart of Downtown. The staff were lovely too. Maram in particular was great. I would be more than happy to stay with Dahab again the next time I...

Great location, warm staff - especially Maram and Takwa - and very confortable rooms. Breakfast is really good. The tours are cheap and handy. Night time you can hang with your friends at the top of the hostel, smoking shisha and drinking tea (the hibiscus one is really good).

Dahab hostel is very unique. It's located on the rooftop in downtown area, very close to the museum and Tahrir square. They got good atmosphere throughout the day and a friendly staff that knows how to make you feel welcomed. They also offer great tours throughout Egypt, including the White Desert tour that was my favorite.

The rooms are clean and well furnished. The bedding is nice. The shared bathroom is regularly cleaned and well maintained. A kitchen is there with a refrigerator which suffices to self made food. Breakfast is available in the morning. Soft drinks and tea is also available. The hostel is located at the rooftop of a building. Its breezy with fresh...
