I last visited Cairo in 2005, and had been reluctant to return given the political environment. This last year I went to a King Tut display at the St. Louis Science Museum and it rekindled my love of ancient Egypt....thus my journey began.
Stayed here for one night well passing through Cairo. My room was quite large bed comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful. Enjoyed my treatment in the spa. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Location is good for sightseeing & getting around. Pool area was clean and...More

We had an excellent stay here, service is fantastic and tips included in the bills. Not everyone wants a dollar for their excellence in service. The Club Lounge is a fantastic option, really yummy options of oriental foods. A nice view too. As a “Platinum...More
It's overrated... Service is not up to standard... Good not good
Staff are really not professional
One good thing.. it is on the Nile view however there are many hotels on the River Nile with better service and maybe less price

That was probably my review. I was just there in June and there is nothing after breakfast. I was told by the staff that because of the lack of demand they do not put out any buffet. However, they do allow you to order room service menu food directly to the club lounge complementary. That sounds like a pretty good deal but I don't know how long it would take to arrive. I was really disappointed to see just how empty the place was and I'm sure it's due to the economy but also could've been because I was there during Ramadan. Good luck and report back if things are different then I say but it looks like a relatively permanent change. As each time I visited the lounge we were the only ones in the lounge at about 6 PM! Very surprising at 6 PM to be the only ones looking out over the Nile and the pyramids at sunset! Sorry for my delay in responding to your question.

No not all rooms only the suites and the junior suites......the old hotel before renovation when it was known as the Nile Hilton actually had a balcony in every single room whether you were looking westward or eastward. At that time air conditioning wasn't the make or break deal it is now. Every room however has a glass panel that overlooks the view
