Hotel Sheherazade is ideally located far from crowds & noise, an oasis of calm in a green & shady garden. The building, in the style of Hassan Fathy, reflects the designs evoked in The Book of a Thousand and One Nights, Sheherazade being the name of the beautiful storyteller. As well as local tours, balloon trips etc., the hotel is pleased to offer desert safaris and Nile cruises. After a heavy day sightseeing, laze by the pool or watch the glorious sunsets from the roof top terrace.

I could not recommend more the charming Sherazade Hotel that felt like home and refreshing holiday for one week. This is a great safe place for solo women traveller or groups. The hotel can arrange the pickup service from Luxor East Bank bus station or the airport. My room was

The staff were very cooperative and tried their best to fulfil every wish, including carrying an extra fan to the outdoor dining area to help ward off the flies. They offered another room at no charge when the aircon in our room was struggling in the heat. When we had a flat

I'm sorry you were disappointed with your visit. However first of all i must point out that the problem with the electrical supply is a nationwide problem during the summer months, not specifically a hotel problem. Secondly, we make no claim to be a luxury hotel, our website states we are a budget hotel. If you expect items such as a tv, fridge, toiletries etc in your room then you must go to a luxury hotel but pay vastly increased room rates instead of the very modest budget rates we charge.

In May 2018 we stayed at Sheherazade with our 2 families; the hotel is not too big and has a very nice atmophere, on the westbank of Luxor, a 5 minute walk from the ferry. Rooms big enough and clean, small swimmingpool, good food and last but not least, very friendly and

This was the first time I stayed at the hotel, three weeks together with my eight-year old son. The hotel had everything we expected, the room was clean and tidy, cleaning was offered every morning. We especially asked for, and were given, a fridge in our room, which was very

What is the weather like in February?
I forgot to say that February is definitely not the time for swimming because it is just too cool for that.
