We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while exploring Luxor. The hotel is an easy walk to water taxis to get to the East bank. We found this hotel to be in the perfect location for exploring Luxor. It was also an easy walk to the bank and stores to buy snacks. The hotel staff are very kind and friendly and were ready to help whenever we needed something. We had great conversations with the staff about all things in life and everyone working there made our stay much more enjoyable. We used the pool to help with the afternoon heat after visiting sites in the morning. The pool was clean and towels were readily provided. Lunch and dinner were simple yet delicious, we ate chicken shawarma with Tahine over and over again because we enjoyed it so much. The room accommodations are basic but have good AC and fans to keep cool on hot days. We would recommend this hotel and hope to be back one day.…
I stayed here s total of 11 nights and will definitely stay here again when I next come back to Egypt. The room was a good size and very clean and comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. Fan in the ceiling(which I didn't use) as well as fridge. The bathroom was very modern with very hot water and good water pressure. The staff were great! Thank you Christine for responding so promptly to my emails, and for getting me some re-hydration sachets, thank you Nubi for arranging to pick me up, thank you Amin for cleaning my room and for your very imaginative and inspired towel arrangements! Thank you Adham for taking care of me at breakfast and for going to the pharmacy when I felt ill!! I couldn't have gotten ill in a better place as I felt everyone was looking out for me😍 The food here was very reasonably priced and good value👍🏼 The swimming pool with the sun beds and mattresses was fab, as were the common lounging about areas👍🏼 Can't think of anything negative.... One night there was a huge party going on due to a death anniversary in the village so it was noisy until 11pm? Don't bother looking for anywhere else to stay in the West Bank! This is great value and paradise compared to what's going on in the East Bank.…
Sheherazade hotel is not a five star hotel but you certainly get five star treament. We had 11 fantastic days here and were sorry to leave.Good food with an excellent chef who was very obliging and would ponder to your needs. Mohamed the owner was a great help and lovely person. He would go out of his way to help you.He could arrange any private and personal trips you require. This is much better than going on an organised coach has you can have has many photo stops and no time limit .He was born on the west bank so has lots knowledge about it.Anything you require he can do it.Would certainly stay there again has the staff are very helpful and friendly.Hopefully will be back next year has one of our best holidays .Enchalla .Thank you everyone.
I stayed 12 nights in this hotel and really enjoyed it. The family room had cute lamps and a spacious bathroom, it got cleaned daily, fresh towels were provided daily. I loved the garden and the swimming pool which was a great asset in the hot Luxor autumn. Food was always delicious and freshly made when you ordered it, friendly chef! In addition to being good value for money I would like to add that this hotel offers something you cannot put a price on: the staff are super friendly and welcoming, they enjoy making your stay as comfortable as possible. As a female solo traveller I truly appreciated the warm and safe atmosphere. Location is great, close to shops and Nile corniche. Yes, when you arrive for the first time the sandy street might cause you to doubt whether there is even a hotel here. Keep in mind that this is Egypt and not a rich country in Europe. You are in an authentic Egyptian village, I don´t think you could find a safer place to stay as people here take care of each other and you. So immerse yourself and enjoy Egyptian hospitality.…
We had a wonderful journey in Sherehazade Hotel Luxor Nile River, the service is very good and people are warm! We enjoyed the Egyptian show and music Thursday night ! The hotel is in a very quiet place and very closed to the shops.
