    Great location on the Nile
    I stayed here for one night at each end of my Nile Cruise, and it is a very nice hotel, deserving its 5* rating, rooms were very clean and well appointed, and great views. The restaurants served very good food and great value as well.

    Honesty I’m sure there are better hotels in Luxor. Our stay at the Sonesta was just ok, the rooms are dated although the bathrooms are quite nice. Worst of all wifi is only free in the lobby and it’s horrible. It’s also not the best sight to see a lobby full of people trying to…

    Hi good morning, Im thinking on booking 4 nights in march. I want a hotel that is nicely located. How far is this hotel from main attractions in luxor? Such as, the temples? Also, is it far from the airport?
    Hi Nancy, what our readers wrote is correct, it is 5 minutes away by taxi from Luxor Temple, 10 minutes away from Karnak Temple and 3o minutes away from Hatshepsut Tempe

    where is breakfast served , in the lower large resturant ? Are they serving pancakes and waffles ? And is freshly sqeezed orange on offer ? and at no extra charge ?
    They have pancakes, in 2 locations; at the omlet station and in the buffet. The buffet line does run out of pancakes. Juice is freshly squeezed, but not in front of you. Our price included breakfast.
