Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

the hotel has some small rooms that are difficult to fit in, but apart from that, it's great. It has a very nice view of the Luxor Temple, the Nile, and the West Bank. We had a very delicious breakfast on the beautiful and cozy roof terrace. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We spent five nights here. Location is ideal for exploring the Luxor region. The convenience of the rooftop restaurant is a plus (and the view of Luxor Temple makes for great atmosphere). If you’re up really early for the sights, know that the breakfast box fare the hotel provides is minimal. Hosts were always cordial and helpful. A large bazaar is just steps away. Great value.

The hotel location in East bank center and close to all the attractions especially the Luxor Temple which the hotel has a direct view of it from it's rooftop restaurant "Al Sahaby Lane Restaurant ". The hotel is entrance is connected to Luxor market. The hotel staff is very friendly especially Ms. Reem from front desk and the cleaning team at the hotel. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are clean and cozy. The hotel has it's special tour operator partner (Magic Carpet Travel Egypt) very professional staff with good prices. The breakfast is very good and diverse and it's on the rooftop restaurant. The hotel restaurant Al Sahaby Lane is very good with traditional Egyptian menu and very friendly staff. The hotel is highly recommended and will definitely go back there

Best little hotel to stay in Luxor. Clean & A/C. Very modestly priced. People are so friendly. A wide variety of meals were very tasty & well portioned provided by the alleyway/rooftop restaurant. Fantastic views over the Nile from the rooftop restaurant. Walking distance to railway station, back alleyway bazaar, Luxor & Karnak Temples & Luxor Museum.

Lovely hotel, a stone throw away from Luxor Temple, and a souq right behind it. We stayed 4 nights. Staff is super helpful, the room and bathroom perhaps a bit small, but great value for money. And the beds are very comfortable. Highlight is definitely the roof terrace where breakfast (and lunch and dinner) is served. Amazing views over the Nile and Luxor temple to the side. We also had dinner here a couple of times, and it was delicious and great price-quality value. (A big plus is also the attached Magic Carpet Travel/Aladdin Tours. We did several tours with them, and they were our favourite!)

The hotel location is great because it is close to the Luxor temple and Luxor museum. We walked to these locations about 10-15 minutes. We stayed two nights in the hotel and our room was at 1st floor. Though the room was a bit dated and noisy, but it was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good and had many choices in the rooftop Al-Sahaby Lane restaurant. It has also a good view to the Luxor temple. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while in Luxor. We were given early check in which we appreciated. The room is very small and basic, but clean. It was handy for exploring the local area with Luxor temple across the road. The hotel picked us up from the airport (for a charge) which made it alot easier in getting to the hotel. Our room was right below the restaurant which meant we heard lots of noise (until around 11pm) at nights. The bathroom was very small with the shower basically going over the toilet. For the money it was worth the price. Breakfast was included and was plentiful.

Every time I come to Luxor I keep on looking back for this hotel. Staff is corteous, restaurant is great - and with a view - rooms are basic and clean. Location is great. There is no elevator so watch out for that. Special thanks to Abu Zizo from the restaurant in the rooftop and also to Ahmed, who helped with our reservations.

I love that their floors are tiled rather that carpeted - cleaner. Their receptionist is very helpful in arranging our breakfast box as we have to leave for airport early. Recommended that a taxi book via hotel is better in terms of rates rather than half way riding, the taxi driver tells you to pay an extra of LE300 for some charges...of which we experience at Cairo. My room fridge was not working - fine with me. There is a kettle to cater to my own morning latte fix😂 before buffet breakfast at rooftop. Buffet breakfast is quite lovely with a variety of seasonal local fruits beside some apples. Coffee, tea and juices available. Freshly made omelette. A variety of cheeses and yoghurts. Dinner at rooftop ~ delicious to the last morsel ~ affordable rate ~ good view of Luxor Temple and surroundings ~ cozy ambient.

Absolutely loved it. Great location. Amazing staff. The restaurant food is beautiful. The tour services are great. For the price we paid I feel we got more than I expected. I cannot fault one thing. Keep in mind: no iron in the room/hotel. However laundry are very reasonable and just plan a little bit ahead if you need to wash anything.
