For a first experience I booked a deluxe room but I ended up sleeping on a cottage. I asked to change but they just ignored my request and never apologize for that. The environment is good but the staff is poorly trained to deliver great quality service, food is not good for the price I paid, old TV in the rooms. I will definitely never come back to pay $241.3 a night to sleep with mosquitos, that's a price for Radisson Blue, Polana Hotel or Southern Sun in Mozambique.

at first glance the property gas character and is charming. Within minutes you realise the service is disastrous and the property is poorly managed. Check in took 45 minutes and no one else was checking in at the same time. Ordered food from the menu and it took 1.15 minutes to arrive, after numerous complaints. Food was cold and disappointing, as well as undercooked fish. Changed room as it was so noisy: staff outside at 6am talking loudly, floors are thin and you hear everything above. Mattress was extremely hard, awful. I left a laptop charger in my room and no-one contacted me or followed up...unacceptable. The staff in this hotel as so poorly trained and disinterested. Especially reception staff.

The place was beautiful yet the people were very rude and discriminatory, I was stopped at the entrance for almost thirty minutes explaining why I should enter and have a meal there. I am a Muslim young lady and we were there to celebrate the graduation party of my friend. We were treated very unkindly by the security guards. I had to call the management and yet I still had to explain why I was there. After a long wait is when I was allowed to enter, however the staff were kind and helpful. In overall I was in a very uncomfortable situation, I was excited about the fact that I would be in a beautiful environment where I would be welcomed and not treated like a burden. On top of that, I was harassed by an old man who was walking around often, staring rudely at me as I was taking pictures with my friends, this man abused me verbally and told me to stay out while locking the door of the corridor I was taking the pictures… my experience here had utterly ruined my night and my friend’s night.. I couldn’t even enjoy my dinner because of how I felt. Please try to understand we are humans too and we have rights to enjoy ourselves anywhere too. Thank you…

We had a wonderful evening recently that started with drinks on the outside patio which overlooked the picturesque surroundings. It was so relaxing and enjoyable sitting out there admiring the scenery and watching a little golf. Later we moved to the lavish dining room where we had a lovely meal with very good service. Staff super friendly. We will return.

Rooms are very nice and clean. Bed is comfortable and easy to sleep in. Hot water arrives very quickly during the day, but is a bit slow if you are the first one up on your plumbing run in the morning. Internet in the room is completely unreliable. I was there for a conference and could not get some of my work done until I used a colleague's cell phone as a hotspot. No internet also means the phones in the room are not working either since they rely on the same system. Breakfast is included and the buffet is good. Evening buffet ends at 20:00, with only the a la carte menu available after that. One electric outlet in my room needed to be replaced because a plug would not stay in. An extension strip of plugs was so worn it was shorting out. Conference was held in a tent on the other side of the golf course from the main hotel. Conclusion: A nice place to go and get away or attend a day meeting, but for a multi-day meeting there should be better locations.…

Superb Chefs, loved the chicken biryani (5th Dec 2022 @dinner). The receptionists, gym instructor, security, waiters/waitresses are all friendly and professional. Ensure the rooms TV and its accessories are stably fixed and simple to operate.

Nicely kept home away from home.. Very clean with a Well Maintained Golf course. Staff are very supportive with variety of meals served for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Hotel is located within the suburbs of Nairobi in Kiambu county.

The hotel grounds are gorgeous and despite being isolated, it does not feel unsafe. Strict checks at the gate and at reception. The hotel arranged for me airport pick up and drop off and they were perfectly on time, every time. All staff without exception go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Every time I requested something, I was greeted with a wonderful smile. This place is the best example of Kenyan hospitality. However, it feels like the hotel has invested so much on maintaining the beautiful grounds and golf course that they completely forgot about the rooms. My room was not great and I tried to avoid being there during the day as I could work bette and concentrate in any of the many spaces of the hotel. The floor feels like it is about to collapse underneath you. I feel sorry for those on the floor below because every time I took a step, the whole room creaked. The bathroom needed new faucets and a new toilet. Everything was rusty and I felt the pipes were going to give up at any time. To flush I had to do something weird to the handle that felt like pumping the toilet so it would have enough pressure to flush. The shower was clogged and although water pressure in the shower was great, I always tried to shower quickly so it would not overflow. I had a hair dryer whose cable was visibly burnt so I didn’t dare use it. The furniture in the rest of the room was either broken or looking flimsy. I had to unplug the TV because it didn’t work but it kept a white screen on even when I turned it off. Maybe I was unlucky but my room looked like it had not been maintained in years and it is a shame that such a beautiful place does not invest in upgrading the rooms.
