I've lived in East Africa for the last 10 years, and my hotel stays vary from field hotels in the bush for work, to fancy hotels for conferences. Though my standards are quite low and my expectations lower. I wanted a no-frills hotel close to the center of town, affordable, clean and safe. Let me start by saying the staff...

when we arrived the hotel neighborhood did not look too well but the hotel itself is amazing, clean, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and amazing food at the restaurant. the manager was friendly and helpful enough to do a special meal for the patients ps: if you have a flight during rush hour try to leave a bit early as sometimes...

I didn't care much for this hotel but the staff was nice enough. There is no air conditioning so if it's hot I don't recommend because you have to be ware of the mosquitos so you can't open the windows. besides it's terribly noisy outside depending on where you are located. And the breakfast was adequate I suppose. But you...

Stayed here due to a delayed KQ flight, was put up by the hotel. Obviously reasonably near to the airport. The staff were welcoming and cheerful was checked in with no issues and settled in to a very clean and ambient room where everything worked perfectly. Had breakfast and lunch here, decent spread and overall a very relaxing stay albeit...

I stayed in the Summerdale Inn on my last visit to Nairobi. My initial shock was linked to the fact that the hotel prices have gone up by almost 25% from the time I was there but the service has remained the the same. The reception staff were quite helpful and polite. The room was okay, spacious and had good...

The location of the hotel is quite convenient and easily accessible from Airport and City Centre. Great food, and great staff team! the room is very amazing - modern, clean and comfortable Generously spacious but still maintains that warm homely feeling. Security is very tight which makes you always feel safe. For those who want to enjoy Nairobi in style,...

The hotel looked ok from the outside, but the rooms have no A/C or a fan so you have to open the window to get some air. If you are a light sleeper then you’re out of luck its very noisy outside, if you don’t like a worm temp you are out of luck again. The room was small, breakfast...

I stayed in this hotel for a night. The rooms and facilities are quite good but location is not that exciting. Staff is also not so cooperative. There is no AC or fan in the room makes it difficult for foreigners.

started with a horrible 1.5h busride in a 40 year old bus without shocks and aircon from airport to the hotel. They offered me breakfast but all i wanted was a few hours of sleep before going back to the airport. came to the room and went to sleep, but i kept getting woken up by noise from the street...
