Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Received warm hospitality during my stay and their food is good. The environment is quiet and peaceful with a homely feeling. They have very good wifi connection. Also, it's very convenient and near the main road, Waiyaki Way.

I recently stayed at Chak for a work trip. The facility has everything to accommodate American comfort (hot water, TV, electricity) The staff was very kind and the food was good. This is not the first time the organization I work for has stayed there and we were happy to go back. My favorite aspect of the guest house was the fact that there is a lovely outdoor courtyard in the middle of the building with chairs and tables to sit outside and enjoy nature while in bustling Nairobi.

Nice guesthouse at the Noth site of Nairobi , aprx. 10 min. by car from centre of Nairobi.
Close to the Waiyaki Highway. The setup has a modern structure, however is all is outdated.
The rooms are very basic, but clean. The food is acceptable. Breakfast is ok, diner is very limited. At the time I stayed there I was the only guest for diner. There was not much choice but they did their best to accommodate me as much as possible. Going outside for diner was no option as all other places are too far away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have Wifi, which at some places works very well and at some place limited.

This is definitely a no-frills hotel-sort of like a "Super 8" in the USA. But for the price, it is an excellent choice! The staff is very friendly and anxious to serve. The place has great security and it is quiet. The beds are comfortable and the showers have HOT water. The towels are big and clean ones come each day. They clean your room every day.

The restaurant food was nothing fancy but again, for the price, it was excellent. Loved the passion fruit juice for breakfast each morning. Don't miss the made-to-order omelet at breakfast!!! A really nice touch was that they had self-service instant coffee available in the restaurant before the food was served so we could have our morning "fix" right away. When breakfast service started, they had brewed coffee. They also have evening meals that always included a salad, a meat dish, and watermelon. Not sure if they have mid-day meals because we weren't there then.

The courtyard area was very pleasant for eating outside or having before dinner drinks (We brought our own wine).

The conference rooms on the second floor were bright and airy and well furnished. Realize there are no elevators to the second story conference rooms and guest rooms on the second floor. You have to take the stairs.

The only real negative is that the wifi was VERY sporatic. They had a number of wifi hot spots but none of them worked very well and none of them worked in the guest rooms. They told our group leader that they had improved their wifi but it wasn't evident during our stay.

I would stay here again because the price is right and the staff is so friendly and helpful.

This is good place for a travelling in a short budget. And the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Just don't ask for luxuries. Dishes are not very enticing, showers need maintenance, and bed clothing needs to be replaced.

Its an nice clean well kept and manged guest house. Can you imagine that they even have a rooms for those that are differently-abled! On the ground floor there is a room that can be easily accessed by a wheelchair.
Well, the rooms are gorgeous, spacious, even their triple rooms has enough space, each room has a flat screen TV, well done wardrobes with hangers, hot showers, free Wi-Fi, some rooms have a balcony where you can relax in the evening
Their food is great. I liked their fresh juices, they are fantastic.
Their meals are also affordable and delicious.
