We booked a last minute break at Kisingoni Beach and it was fabulous. We were met by the bright, attentive and professional manager, Kieran. The chef created delicious food - from "bitings" to full New Years Eve dinner. We went on a dhow boat to watch the sun set, ate supper by candlelight on the beach, had massages, visited Lamu...

We loved this place because you can just relax and enjoy the beautiful house. We stayed in Pepo house, the staff was wonderfull and very professional, they make us feel "at home". The food was amazing, it was beyond our expectations! We got Lamu town excursion and it was very safe and very well organized. Thank you so much for this...

We loved this place because you can just turn everything off and relax. There is WIFI if you need it (if you must) but we did not. The FOOD is great - you are essentially told what is for lunch and dinner though I am sure if you objected you would have a choice. We always ate what was on...

We took our two toddlers to Kizingoni and stayed in the Frangipani Kabana. My 74 year old mother stayed in the High Tide Kabana up above the beach. Other than some stairs and slippery-when-wet floors our Kabana was fine for the little boys. It was the hottest time of year (March) but the rooms are open to the on shore...

Kizingoni is stunning and extremely beautiful. Set in a quite section of Lamu,no beach boys so we had our dream beach holiday. The stuff we're super incredible and helpful always. The food so scrumptious. We had a wonderful time and truly relaxing especially for my husband just been away from the busy Nairobi life. I recommend kizingoni beach anytime.

We were lucky enough to spend three heavenly nights in Kusini house at Kizingoni Beach. The house is absolutely beautiful - very tastefully decorated and comfy. The staff were all wonderful and served the most delicious fresh seafood. There is time to relax and also plenty to do! Our children were furious to miss out as they were at school...

We visited as a family in August 2014, despite the security warnings! Lamu island is a very special place, and seems unaffected by the goings on in Kenya, and the rest of the world! We stayed at Wazi Dubu House, which in our view is probably the best house on the beach - its a short walk on the sand...

Lamu is an amazingly beautiful, friendly & peaceful (don't take the travel warnings too serious) island and Kizingoni beach, situated at the complete south end of the island, is paradise on earth. Haven't had such a relaxing & luxurious holiday in a long time. The houses are beautiful. They are very big, but because they fit so perfectly in the...
