This is an amazing place to go to. I haven't written any other reviews but this place deserves one ! We live in the UK and had some concerns towards Kenya's Northern Coast. Before going we asked a lot of Kenyans, and in particular,Fuzz, who runs Manda Bay and got the 'on the ground' accurate update, all of whom gave... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in one of the beach front villas. The place is so beautiful and serene. A nice secluded getaway and perfect getaway from city life. Fuzz was a great host as were his staff. I highly recommend it! Definitely going back again.

Last weekend my wife and I had the privilege to stay at Manda Bay, a hidden gem on Manda island near Lamu. What did we do? Apart from a tour through Lamu town (which can only be reached by boat in about 20 minutes) as little as possible! But we did enjoy a spacious and luxurious cabin on the beach.... More

A speed boat away from Lamu town and Peponi Hotel. Worth a visit for the day. Or go stay there and escape - forever ! Marvellous largeconfortable rooms directly on the beach. Great pool. Good games area. Wonderful beach. Nature. Peace. Good fishing facilities provided by the hotel.

The rooms overlook the beach and the ocean. Barefoot luxury starts with "morning tea" delivered to your varandah. Breakfast is fresh fruit etc. With a full English of you want. The pool is infinity, and watching the sun set to die for. Dinner is among the palm trees under the African sky.

A 20 minute boat ride from Lamu followed by a fantastic welcome to paradise desert Island. Bimbi and William our hosts were like friends who we had known forever. The place was magnificently clean, the food was outstanding and the nights were too magical. If you are going to the beach, this is the place to go to

I've just returned from a fabulous week at Manda - complete bliss. If you need a break from the crazy world we live in there really isn't a better place to tune out. So beautiful, great food and wonderful service - and total peace and quiet if you want it…but if you want to dance on the bar that's fine... More

My family and I recently stayed at Manda Bay and had a wonderful time. We were hosted by Charley and Amy and they could not have been more friendly and helpful. The property is amazing and the food was outstanding.
