The camp is top notch. Great staff, excellent guides, food was delicious and the wildlife was incredible. Very safe and comfortable too!Management regularly checked in with us and our guide, Wilson, was knowledgeable and great at spotting animals. Don't be fooled by staying at a lodge in the national park - the experience is way better at a private conservancy,...

Wonderful camp. A wonderful balance of bush camp with the necessary amenities without going over the top. We were very please to find many local Maasai working there and had amazing local guide who we now consider a friend Food was wonderful and all round the perfect experience of Mara

A friend and I visited Naboisho conservancy for 3 days on a photographic safari. We stayed at Encounter Mara Safari Camp, what a great experience! The location is perfect, your are right in the middle of the African bush. From veranda of your secluded and very luxurious tent you have open views of the African veld and bush with lots...

We spent 3 days (2 nights) at the Encounter Safari Camp, and had an absolutely beautiful experience and most comfortable stay at their camp. Our "tent" was very spacious, comfortable and clean, with a view out the front to the Mara plain. We took a warm shower each day in the shower stall of our tent. Meals were truly delicious,...

My wife and I and two other couple friends spent three nights at Encounter Mara. We loved our accommodations; our guide was beyond amazing; the staff members were warm and delightful. Awesome sightings. The guide knew every species and their natural histories, from the elephants to the ants. Couldn't come up with a complaint, if you paid me.

We stayed at Encounter Mara in the Maasai Mara for 4 days and each day there were fabulous game sightings at really close quarters. We were in one of the 12 very large tents with ensuite bathroom tent, which had flush toilet and hot shower, if you ordered it to be filled 15 minutes ahead of time. For 2 nights...

Our time in Encounter Mara was phenomenal. Everything is so well organized from the early morning game drives (with breakfast set up on the savanna, to the evening drives (with beer and wine at 6, surrounded by lions), to the evening drives. The highlight was seeing the rescuing of an elephant that had been shot with a poison dart (tranquilized,...

This was my first time to Africa and first safari. The experience was amazing! The staff of the Asilia was top notch. Andrew the Assistant Manager joined us for the meal. Had an amazing trip. Saw a ridiculous amount of animals during the safari. I would highly recommend Mara Safari Camp. The tent/accommodation was great and super clean. The food...

This was my first safari experience, and everything about it was absolutely perfect. From the Eucalyptus towels when we first arrived to the customer service and food (I can't TELL you how delicious the chicken cordon bleu was!), this was truly the experience of a lifetime. The whole staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and I was blown away by...

This was our first safari, and we stayed at 3 different camps in the Mara region (Naibosho, Rekero and Encounter Mara , all run by Asilia. Each camp is unique in its setting but I could not fault any of them on anything. The "tents" at Encounter Mara would rival luxury hotel rooms. Each tent even has its own ensuite....
