I loved the place so much..it's a great bush experience with friendly and very welcoming staff Philip and Alfred always ready to listen and help.Edwin and Peter always made us look forward to our next meal,not forgetting the unlimited food we got,I am sure am 5kg extra now..lol.Anyway if am coming back MARA CHUI will definitely be my home.Thank you guys for the best Mara experience.Keep it up and stay safe.

Pros: Friendly staff, fresh food, comfortable bed, the room appeared as per other travelers' pics Cons: The bathroom was stained with dirt (see pic) - no hotel should look like that. The variety of food was nothing to write home about (same selection of foods most people eat at their houses), especially what would be considered dessert was mainly melon and pineapple. However, the ingredients were super fresh and the food was tasty. I deliberated long and hard before suggesting a score of 6 out of 10, but in the end, settled on 6 because I believe no hotel bathroom should be as dirty looking as the one I snapped in the photo. Otherwise, I would have settled for a 7.

A last minute change of location after a disappointment at Jamabo Mara landed us at Mara Chui Lodge. We got a warm welcome from Phil who was so kind through our stay. The rooms are awesome,I highly recommend the deluxe rooms, they are so spacious. The food was awesome, I loved the dinner the parked lunches when going for the game drives and the breakfast too was good. I highly recommend Mara Chui if you are doing a group travel where you want to enjoy your space, enjoy the bonfire and love the wild.The staff are awesome.
