First of all we had a great driver (Stanley), very friendly, was very sharp finding animals around the Masai Mara and help us out during our last day on the way back to Nairobi. As the tittle say this is a budget safari, you will have basic rooms that have been explained in previous post so I will focus on...

I was confident when I visited the Big Time Safari offices and found the TripAdvisor logo there. In reality this was not the first time I went to a combined Kenya Tanzania safari and was not the happiest. and would like to share with you the good and the bad of our safaris in Kenya and Tanzania. Generally speaking, the...

I went for the budget 3 days/2 nights safari in Masai Mara. Was one of my best hollidays thanks to Big Time Safaries! Dont expect nothing luxury there. It is eco camp, with electricity from 5-7 am and 7-10 pm and hot water any time. Its was kind of adventure for me! I really loved it. Food was good. Especially...

I had a terrible experience with big time safaris. Dangerous driving on the way to Masai Mara, dishonest tour company. Dark tents with lights not put on until well after dark. Food was average at best. Tents dirty and poorly maintained. Avoid this company

First I'll start by saying that we had an amazing trip, saw many animals, our drivers were good, and Big Time was much cheaper than the other safari trips that I read about online. However, I'm rating them a 2 because if you sign up with Big Time, you should understand what you may be getting into. They are slightly...

A group of 6 of us wanted to go to Africa on our two week break. Working with Big Time Safari was so easy and they helped us create a safari so we could see exactly what we wanted in our time and budget. Martha was amazing to work with from pre-planning stages until we arrived in Africa. Once on...

I have been with Big Safari Times in Masai Mara for two days couple weeks ago. That was fine, so after six weeks I bought a 3 days trip to Amboseli plus one day at Nakuru Lake. It was hudge misstage. You will never know anything about the company before any issues come out. So, we bought the trip for...

I went on a budget safari with Big Time in July and I have already recommended the company to all my colleagues in Kenya! I went on the four day budget safari to Maasai Mara/Lake Nakuru. Saw pretty much everything there is to see, and on the third day heading towards Nakuru, we stopped for a fun boat tour of...

“Accommodation and food are everywhere very basic and often you will have to sleep in tents. If you are a young backpacker this may be the trip for you. But the cost of 300 USD per couple would expect that Big time Safari offers something better, especially in Tanzania.”
