The wildlife is unreal! The staff is great and the food is plentiful. Do yourself a favor and fly from Nairobi. The hotel was built in the 1960’s and is in desperate need of paint and general maintenance. It’s got great bones, it just needs a bit of cosmetic work. I’d stay

Fly from Wilson airport not far from Nairobi International, reasonable prices and takes about 45 mins. Lands at keekorok about 5 mins from the hotel. The drive is a long bumpy ride well worth flying instead

Hi You can use USD no problem. If you need you can change a bit in the lodge. You cannot spend any money outside the lodge. When you return there will be a few locals selling things by the landing strip. If you want anything you may need local currency. Even then you can change some from your driver. Let me know if you need more information. Regards
