The lodge has a great view towards the Maasai Mara reserve. It is made of natural materials and the cabins are really spacious and decorated with taste. The service was seamless. Meals served in the restaurant are ok - nothing out of ordinary, but good. Hot water and power are

We stayed at the Mara Sopa Lodge in Feb. 2019. Located some 6 km from the Masai Mara National Reserve gate, the dirt road was super bumpy. We opted for this luxury lodging as part of our Masai Mara 3 day safari. We checked in after day 1 of our tour, right after our 6-7h drive

Great hotel. Great service. Some rooms can be quite far from reception. No WiFi in rooms other than in reception which doesn’t have that great a connection (not that we were bothered). Food is ok. A bit bland for my taste but nice enough. Huge variety indeed. Great stop over

How much would you recommend tipping? Do you tip at every service? Thanks
They expect tip at every service. IF you go to a fancy and expensive restaurant leave a tip of 2E. But otherwise 50Cent is ok.

Hi there, Are the beds covered with mosquito nets? Thanks, Mac
Hi, Yes there are huge nets covering the beds. On the other hand the windows have nets as well. So you are double covered. Just try to keep the doors closed. Even in the evening they spray for the insects as well.
