Went here as part of a family tour to Kenya. The lodge is quite large and has facilities but then again some people may prefer smaller lodges. Good was decent enough. However only gripe is that the lodge is outside the main Mara reserve.

We had to cancel our last night at the lodge. we stayed the first 2 nights and cancelled the last night. The lodge manager dealt with the issue in a very derogatory in the manner as he did not realize that our 5 people travel crew was made up of 1 person who understood swahili.

They expect tip at every service. IF you go to a fancy and expensive restaurant leave a tip of 2E. But otherwise 50Cent is ok.

Hi, Yes there are huge nets covering the beds. On the other hand the windows have nets as well. So you are double covered. Just try to keep the doors closed. Even in the evening they spray for the insects as well.
