Hotel was nice with friendly staff. Rooms were just OK. Had lots of mosquitos, even with the night time netting. Food was just OK too. The biggest downfall of this hotel is that wifi was VERY spotty. The other thing is that they use power from generators, so they shut down several times a day with no power, just day...

We stayed for two nights at Sopa Lodge as part of a service group after-work safari. The hotel and rooms and lodge are beautiful, as are the grounds. This was our first Lodge in Kenya. On arrival we were greeted with a cooling drink and refreshing face cloth. This level of service and attention to guests was maintained throughout our 2 night stay. Location is good. Surrounded by forest and wild life not far off. Big fire place and bar laundering that serves all sort of drinks. Even a person like me had non alcoholic mock tail.
