We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The service is superb and personalized, so you have the same food and drinks waiters, tent attendant and guide throughout your stay. Everyone is helpful and friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I made it my mission to try and find a question that our guide could not answer but was...

Spent 5 nights at Governers Camp and it was magical. A different kind of holiday but loved it despite the early mornings, but the drives were worth it. Simon was our wine waiter, Fred our restaurant waiter and William our tent host. Everyone was very kind and so attentive, excellent service. Staying on an unfenced camp was a real experience...

We had read hundreds of fantastic reviews about governors camp, but nothing can be as amazing as being there in real life! It was a holiday of a lifetime, the staff were amazing and very attentive, the food was delicious and the accommodation was fantastic! We had Gideon take us out for the game drives and couldn't ask for a...

I have been to the Mara four times now. Every time I go I visit one of the Governors' Camps properties and I try a camp for the first time in a different area of the Mara or a nearby conservancy. Every visit has been excellent. So it shouldn't be a surprise that when I wanted to bring five of...

Governors' Camp is a great place to stay in the Masai Mara Reserve. The whole operation runs very smoothly. Even though there are more than 20 tents, the staff seem to know who you are and which tent you're in. You are greeted personally at all meals. The food was very good and the game drives were spectacular. Our guide,...

Two elephants walked into our breakfast area and we all had to move until they walked away. Incredible experience. The sleeping accommodations were excellent. the staff was uniformly friendly, as in all of Kenya, but also efficient and highly competent. There are no fences around Governors so animals do walk through. After dark game guards walk you to your tents...

This place on the bank of the Mara river is truly beautiful, the accommodation, being in tents, is different, but you have everything you need. The people in the camp are very friendly and helpful, and the guides extremely knowledgeable and we're happy to stay watching the magnificent wildlife as long as you wanted. Got so close at times to...

Stayed here for my husbands 50th. Had to initially wait longer for our room but it was worth the wait, we had been given the honeymoon suite with a resident crocodile. Governor's Camp includes 3 game drives per day and full board. We lucked out with our driver guide, Dixon, who was great with the kids and gifted in spotting birds and game, particularly large cats but also smaller cats like Serval and Genet.
