Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a fantastic safari experience. There were six of us in our party, including two children (8 and 10). Some of us had been on many safaris before, others were new to it. We all had a brilliant time. The accommodation was comfortable, beautifully appointed and way above expectations. Hot showers, daily laundry and attentive staff really made all the difference. William is a wonderful guide and manager and his entire team were faultless - their passion for what they do really shone out. The 8 year old fussy eater was catered for with no bother - but he really should have tried the lunches and dinners as he missed out on some delicious food. The drives were tailored to suit us, the safari walk was fascinating. I really could go on and on. How wonderful to deliver such a fantastic experience and to do it with low impact on the area and with real sensitivity for the surrounding communities and natural world. A special thanks to all the animals that honoured us with an appearance. The Leopard gorge conservancy is a very special place. Would recommend to all travellers and hope to return one day. A magical experience, thank you.

An absolutely magical place. The staff are warm and welcoming, incredibly polite and respectful and above all keen to engage with guests. The vibe is super-glamping: tents have large doubles with ensuite, there's WiFi, a bar and a fire pit to keep you warm as the night air cools. I loved the fact that dinner was explained then brought to you: Afro-saxon food which was delicious and fresh tasting. What
was the best thing, going to bed and waking up with all the sounds of the nature around you. The lodge is in the middle of the game reserve so Masai ' body gaurds' ensure your security at night when walking to and from your tent. We couldn't recommend it enough!

Nice stay! The staff is SUPER attentive and make you feel very welcome. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were the only people staying at the camp which was a little weird at first but nice because we got personalized service. The location is a bit far from things that you want to see in the Masai Mara, but it’s beautiful in itself. The food was the only problem that we encountered, my fiancé and I and our driver got sick and then we did not eat the food the rest of the stay. I think that’s something that they need to work on. Other then that, great stay.

The staff and service at the Camp are absolutely FANTASTIC. The tents are basic with little space to keep suitcases and get ready. Shower was a bit unstable and the tent is poorly lit. For the price the tents and bathrooms need to be better. The views from the tent and the lodge are nice but when we went in August the plains were empty of wildlife. Camp and tents were clean and looked well sanitised. Meals were set up under an acacia tree in the daytime and under the stars at night which was great.

We stayed here during a recent trip and found this to be the best of the places we stayed in country. We were greeted warmly on arrival by the team who was welcoming, low-key, and friendly. The site is of a manageable size. Our tent was large, furnished, and comfortable, with many windows looking out to great views of the surrounding conservancy. The food was good and the tea was plentiful. Drinks were available for those who wanted them. The walking safari in the conservancy was interesting and not strenuous. The facilities were convenient, understated and well-maintained. It is expensive, but it is totally worth the experience.
The staff is also a strength of the camp. From the manager all the way down the line every staff member we met was extremely friendly, helpful, welcoming, generous with time, attentive without looming, and a pleasure to talk to at length. I definitely recommend this Camp to friends and family and we would stay there again.

Even though the rooms are beautiful and the views and location are amazing (right in the middle of the sabana with wild animals around you), what makes this place truly unique is the staff: extremely kind and caring people that make you feel very welcome and are there for everything you need, and since there are just a few rooms, the whole experience feels very personalized. 100% recommend!!

We were the fitst guests after the lockdown. Staff were happy to have customers again and we were very please with the care and attention given to us. Talking to the chef resulted in food being prepared that we appreciate most. We felt reaaly pampered. The facilities are well maintained. All in all very good. What could be better (compared to other camps) are the vieuws from the camp. Minor detail.

What a beautiful camp with fantastic staff. From the moment Jackson picked us up at Musiara airstrip we knew we were in for an amazing family experience, Kandili Camp did not disappoint. Our 3 night stay was perfect. The accommodation and food were just lovely. We loved our picnic breakfasts, lunches & game drives. Jackson was a superb guide, who was patient and took time to explain so much to us about the animals, birds and people living in the Mara.
I would highly recommend Kandili Camp.

I loved my stay here!! I’m normally an inside person that doesn’t love camping and things like that. This camp was the perfect in between for me. I got a nice bed, a warm shower and really good meals. I got to sleep in a tent and hear the animals in the evenings. I loved waking up and hearing the birds in the morning. The staff here was incredible!! We loved talking Fredrick our waiter. He gave us so much information on the Masai people. He was such a happy face every time we saw him! Jackson took us on a walking safari and kept us from being charged by a buffalo! We had a great time here! We felt loved and important to all the people there. 10/10 would stay again!

i have been twice now to Kandili, the first trip in mid August i got to see the great migration, many lions and the first time i have seen more than 100 elephants and 40 giraffes in a single day.
Second trip at the End of August i got to see a Cheetah and cub, a leopard close up and a lion kill, felt for the Zebra but that is Nature. Large herds of elephants again with many babies and being able to sit among them is fantastic. William and the team are excellent hosts and William and peter are superb guides
