We have just returned from a family holiday in Kenya. Part of this trip was a two night stay at Mara Siria Tented Camp. We were picked up at the airstrip and taken to the camp which was approx 25 minutes away. On arrival we were were greeted by friendly staff who handed us a welcome drink. We were given a short briefing about the camp then shown to our large luxury tents which were amazing. They consisted of a veranda, bedroom and bathroom with all toiletries included. There is a plunge pool on site with the most amazing view. There is a stall which sells local handicrafts. Due to the camp being open and unfenced you are escorted by staff to and from your tents at night. As it was a bit cooler at night hot water bottles were placed in our beds during turndown, which was a lovely surprise. Each day menu choices are discussed with staff. The food was varied and delicious with staff very attentive. We were taken on a nature walk by Emmanuel who explained all about Masai ways and the animals and plants around the camp. We had very up close experiences with Zebra and Giraffe on the walk. All staff were excellent, knowledgeable and very friendly. As this is a smaller camp it definitely feels you experience a more personal touch. All in all we had the most incredible time and would would highly recommend this camp

The location of the camp is about 20 minutes outside of the Mara triangle, high above the plain with a breathtaking view. The tents are very comfortable, large with toilet/hot water shower. The distance between the tents allows for privacy. It's really in the nature, we had zebras and even giraffes in "our garden".
The staff are very friendly without being too submissive, they help wherever they can. The food was very good, with a choice of vegetarian ond non- veg meals.
Our driver and guide was Richard, and we really think we wan 1st price with him. He showed and explained us just about everything, his game drives (6 in 4 days) were the highlight of our stay. Next time we would definitely try to have Richard again as our guide.
Don't miss a bushwalk with Emmanuel, a local Masai and naturalist! He can show you the most amazing details on trees, shrubs and other plants.

Mara Siria is in a beautiful location on an escarpment overlooking the Mara River and nestled in nature. The staff are so attentive and kind! We stayed in a deluxe tent #11 and it was very comfortable with a deck looking out across the savannah. The food is very good, and when my daughter didn't feel well after a long day on safari, the wonderful team brought dinner to our tent. Highly recommend taking a nature walk with the Maasai guide Emmanuel and get to know him and his vision for encouraging wildlife and habitat conservation among young people. The "camp zebra" is a bonus - not tame but likes to hang out with the humans!

We spent 3 amazing days in the Mara Siria camp in Masai Mara. The camp is really beautiful and at a stunning location with fantastic views (especially for sunrise) over the national park and Mara river. We even had Zebra visiting the camp and the little Rock Hiraxes living on the rocks are extra cute. The team at the camp around Charlie, Joel, Polly and Ronny are fantastic and our driver and guide Richard was the best showing us everything the park has to offer on our game drives - including 17 lions, leopard, cheetahs and a black rhino baby.

We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to Charlie, Joel, Polly, Ronny, and of course, Richard—he will be delighted to know he made your safari experience so special. Bush tented camp with amazing views and comfortable facilities that fit perfectly with the surroundings. Zebras and giraffes are easily seen grazing around the camp at during the day.
Joel and the rest of the staff welcomed us with a big smile and made themselves available at any time to ensure our stay was unforgettable.
We contracted the ground package which included the accommodation, the meals, the transfers from and to the airstrip, and a game drive.
We stayed in a deluxe twin tent, but we were not expecting such a nice tent. The beds were very comfortable and the restroom was really nice. We really enjoyed having a drink sitting outside the veranda while looking at the Maasai Mara.
We were pleasantly surprised with the meals. The food was very tasty and the amounts were correct.
The game drive with Phoneix Safaris was so much fun! Our driver and guide, Jacob, was very careful driving and very patient, always checking on us and providing insightful information about the animals we encountered.
We definitely recommend you this camp if you want to have an authentic experience without compromising your comfort. We will definitely be back someday!

I have never before experienced anything like this. My friend and I booked "the flying package" with phoenix travels which sent us to this camp for 2 nights. Everything went smoothly; no questions were left unanswered, no wishes were left unfulfilled.
On arrival we were greeted by a group of staff, everyone was introduced and everyone remembered our names for all of our stay, which made us feel most welcome.
Meals were three times a day with salad, maincourse (choice of meat or veg) and dessert. It was plenty and delicious.
We went for game drives every day with an incredible driver, who shared his vast knowledge about the country, the flora and fauna with us and who made sure we were comfortable the whole time and got to see all the animals we came to see (and more). There was no timetable, we could choose freely the time of departure and when it was before breakfast or in the middle of the day a meal was prepared to enjoy on the way.
Sleeping in the tent at Mara Siria Camp was very much like staying at a hotel with a comfortable bed, electricity and even wifi available, the difference being the zebra, giraffes and maybe other animals walking past our door. Temperatures dropped to a around 15Degrees celsius after sunset, but there were hot water bottles in our beds when we returned from the dining area.
We did not go on a walking tour, which is also offered, but were still accompanied on our ways through the camp, told everything we wanted to know about the Masai, the plants and the animals we encountered.
All in all my stay at the camp was a brilliant experience, most of all because of the lovely staff that it was very hard to say goodbye to. If ever I get the chance to go on safari again I will not hesitate to come back to Mara Siria.

Very well located at the top of escarpment with amazing view on Masai Mara triangle. The staff is very professional, breakfast and dinners are good with the the possibility to drink very good wines from South Africa or Argentina.
The camp could be ranked as ecolodge since all electricity and hot water comes from solar energy.
It takes about 20 minutes from the camp to Masai Mara gate.
In the morning we could see very nice sunrise with girafes and zebras close to our tent.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the deluxe tents. The camp was basic but had all necessities needed. The staff was amazing, we where welcomed and checked in by Emanuel. Food was basic but good. Included in the stay are the; Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and coffee/thee. Drinks where charged separately that where reasonably priced. We got

The location is just the best, close to the gate and animal sightings everywhere. The gate where the camp is located is one of the more quite ones but on this side of the Mara the animals where the best. No big crouds with lots of vehicles like on the other side near the main gate.

We booked though Phoenix Safaris, this camp is owned by them. With our booking we got a driver that drove us all around to all places we went to. Our driver was Richard, OMG, this is the best you could get! He is the best driver and guide and especially animal spotter out there. He was always the first guide around to spot a special animal and then other guides would join and watch the sighting, he was friends with all the other guides and knew the staff at the Mara gates and made our trip the best!

During our stay we also booked a Hot Airballoon morning safari with champagne breakfast, this is a once in a lifetime experience and a definite must do! After the breakfast our superguide was ready to take us the rest of the day on a gamedrive, he took the lunch packed from the resort, this way we could make the most of our day and not have to go back to the camp for lunch.

Only comment i could give is place a water kettle in the room so guests could make coffee or tea in the deluxe tents.

A lot has been written about Mara Siria, but this place just deserves a great review time and again. I don’t know a more beautiful place that combines all the things that make an extraordinary travel experience possible. You can experience pure Africa with its incredibly beautiful nature, you can see (with a bit of luck) the "Big Five" and many other animals still living freely here, you are cared for in a warm and best way by a very attentive but never intrusive staff. Next you will find beautiful, sustainability-minded, well-equipped and comfortably furnished tents with breathtaking views high above the Mara River. The fact that the entire catering is then offered at the highest level is another highlight of the all-round package. Finally, you can visit the Mara Siria Camp
unrestricted only warmly recommend and wish the operator (Peter Böheim) quite a lot of new and old guests who will certainly not regret their decision to come here. We will definitely come back!!!

We had a 3 night stay and it was more than I could ever have wished for.
The camp is in a stunning position high above the plains and the Mara river. The views are wonderful and the stars are so clear at night.
Joel and the whole team are so friendly and look after you so well. They all work such long hours but are always ready to greet you with a smile. Food is plentiful and tasty, our deluxe tent was very comfortable , spacious, and felt very spoilt with plentiful hot water and a lovely touch of a hot water bottle in bed at night!
Charlie is a born guide on the game drives with his knowledge and enthusiasm. Always very respectful of the animals and his passion for photography was a bonus for me trying to get ‘the shot’ .We felt so lucky to have seen the variety of wildlife that we did.
A truly wonderful place and we were very sad to leave.
