Located in an area with nothing exciting for a foreigner to do some sightseeing. There is a ski-slope in front of the hotel. The room assigned was spacious and the only highlight was the in-room hot bath. It should have been fitted with spray jets, which would have been perfect. Far from the sights of Beijing, the rooms are filthy. The first room they tried to put us in had obviously been broken into. The door frame was gouged and the lock plate held in by one loose screw. But, don't let that discourage you. It is a lovely place and an easy cab or subway ride into the heart of the city. This is actually...

This hotel is located beyond the 6th ring road, north of Beijing, so about an hr by taxi from downtown. Not really much going on near here, except that it's close to the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunication. The complex includes a couple of hotels, a water sports park and a spa facility. Didn't partake, so can't comment on...
