I specifically chosed this hotel because of its location in the hutong. I did not regret the choice and neither did my family. We loved the traditional architecture, the location and it is very near to the Pinganli metro station. Around the hotel, there are many local eateries and snacks so you have ample of choice. The rooms are small... More

We stayed he for four nights and LOVED this hotel. It is quite hard to find the first time. Find Huguosi Snack Street. The cab will need to drop you there. Then walk down Huguosi alley until you see the public toilet (used by many huotong residents). Turn left. (By now you'll think--oh no, this can't be right.) You'll see... More

We enjoyed staying at the Ron Yard hotel and found the staff to to be helpful and the location in the Hutongs interesting. The breakfast was Chinese and quite nice. Our room was a good size and very comfortable (bathroom very big) and the courtyard style of the hotel a nice change from a regular hotel. There are several pet... More

The hotel is located in the middle of the local shops and houses. If you travel by mini-van, you will have to get off at the beginning of the alley and walk. The alley is too narrow for the van to go through. Front desk ladies were helpful and friendly. Don't expect much from the bell man. The buildings are... More

We loved our stay here. The staff were fantastic and could not have been more helpful. A little oasis tucked away, very quiet but only a few minutes walk to the Metro. The courtyard was great for meals or drinks. This hotel will be our first choice in Beijing. Thank you!

This hotel really immerses you in Chinese culture and history - it is set up in the traditional courtyard style with rooms around the outside. Décor is traditional as well. Rooms are decent size, beds were a little hard, bathroom was large. Free wifi and breakfast. It is very close to many restaurants - a little bustling neighborhood - and... More

“Our room backed onto the alley but we did not find the sounds to be annoying. It just added to the colorful nature of the community. In mid-April, no need for A/C. All windows are operable and our weather was perfect.”
