Spent 3 nights in Beijing International Hotel. Fare price compare with other hotels in Financial Street district. Hotel room was nice and comfortable, just a bit dated and required for an renovation. For buffet breakfast, not too various of choices. However, the fruits were very

Fairly priced - around $150/night. Nice bathroom, fantastic shower, high quality amenities - soap, shampoo, etc. CNN available on TV. Comfy bed. Breakfast buffet a bit pricey - around $30 - but selection was amazing - Chinese, Western and EU selections - made to order

A nice clean hotel stay with shuttle to airport. The shuttle driver was as rude as you could get. Not recommended at all. Next time I’ll go to the Beijing airport and try the hotel service they offer per hourly rate.

There were a few annoyances. We rang in advance wanting an early check-in. We had a meeting at 1400 and had an hour to have a shower and get changed after a long haul flight. In spite of the reassurances, the room was not ready when we arrived and we had to kick up a fuss. That

Like most hotels, they required a refundable deposit for potential room charges (e.g., use of minibar and other room charges). They charged 500 RMB, which is equal to about $100 cdn or $80 US. Upon checkout all of the accounting was spot on. No issues.

We arrived during the afternoon. The best thing to do is as others have advised - contact the hotel directly in advance. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee/tea areas in the hotel (at a price) or if you can leave your luggage in a secure location at the hotel (which is very feasible) there is a shopping mall across the main road in front of the hotel which has a big food court where you can get a good well priced meal (we ate for £8 for the two of us in one of the cafes there -including drinks - and it was excellent)
